Not bad to stay there for that price. The problem with the people having late night drink and chat outside their room (just next to our room) was dismissed by the staff person who came soon after our complain. The motel looks renovated as they advertised, almost like new with some exclusions. We will prefer this motel to the close Days Inn. On Graduation days they asked about $157 (after taxes) for $90 room (but worse than w had in RED ROOF motel).

Excellent value
The staff was extremely helpful & friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. Newer A/C unit worked perfectly. It's a bit hard to find because it's set back a bit off State Street, but when I called, the clerk gave clear, concise directions. This place was perfect for what we needed & I consider it to be a great bargain. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

A bargain
For the price one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Updated clean room with flatscreen television and free WiFi. There is no elevator; and the wireless, while perfect for emails and general web browsing, was about as slow as most other hotels I have stayed in. Overall a great deal and I would gladly stay there again.

Thin Blankets and Cold Nights
We booked two nights at the Red Roof University South and were disappointed to find that the room didn't come with some of the most common amenities--namely a coffeemaker. The shower was really small and crowded, and the walls were cracked and dingy. Room service was a little slow, and the blankets were horribly thin. It made for a couple of cold and uncomfortable nights. Parking was an absolute nightmare. The hotel shares a common lot with another hotel, and the parking was set between then, with fewer than half the spaces you needed to actually park near your room.

THIS IS THE BEST RED ROOF INN ,IVE BEEN IN! on this same trip we payed more and got less at a higher end hotel! THE BEST THING WE HAD PEOPLE WHO SPOKE CLEAR ENGLISH AND DID NOT CUT CORNERS ON ROOM SERVICE. GREAT JOB TOO THE STAFF AT THIS RED ROOF!!!!!!

College visit stay
Red Roof was located very close to the University We were on the second floor and stayed during the first snow storm of the season so the wind hit hard against the door and window which did make the room chilly. The heating was hard to control because of that. The staff was nice, the room VERY clean The price was great and included breakfast.
