Basic north Ann Arbor hotel, best for couples or business travelers

Better Than Expected

Everything went well. The room was smaller, but it was well laid out and comfortable. We will go back again.

Road trip

Great restaurants on Main Street. Chop House is excellent.

Great for a short stay.

Experience was pleasant. Room was great, but would not like to spend alot of time in it as it is small! Hotel needs to upgrade their breakfast!

Good Place To Spend The Night

If you're looking for a quiet and clean place to spend the night -- and close to the University of Michigan North Campus -- this is a very good buy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The amenities were limited, and the continental breakfast was just adequate ... nothing special.

Very pleased

We have stayed at Microtel Inn's before and this was the best. We were between venues, the location was perfect between the two. Easy to find, very clean and had everything we needed at the right price. Plan to stay again next year.

You get what you pay for

Cheap and okay accommodation. I needed a place to crash for a few nights. My days were spent mostly out. The walls are thinner than you would expect. I could clearly hear the conversation in the next room. There's not many food places walk-able from the inn. If you have business in Ann arbor, I would suggest this hotel if you have a car.

Clean but below par

The room was clean, but the tv was dated and could not be rotated to be seen from both beds. Continental breakfast was below par and the bagels were stale. OK for the price but wouldn't want to stay more than one night.
