It's your basic hotel. The breakfast they serve is good and the internet access is free and pretty reliable. It's right across the street from the mall which is nice if you need something or are just looking for something to do. I would stay again if I go back to Ann Arbor.

Best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in the last 16 years
I was welcomed by a pleasant receptionist. The ambiance was outstanding. Rooms were very clean. We wanted a fridge and they sent one to the room. Breakfast, although standard, was better organised. I went for my son's visit to Michigan University, if he gets in, I will always stay here whenever I visit Ann Arbor

Hotel was clean, bright, well decorated. the room and bathroom were also well-appointed and spotless. The complimentary breakfast was much better than the average--a buffet with a large variety, including a fun, automated pancake machine!

Nice Hotel - Still Average Location
The hotel staff, room and general amenities were very nice for a busy Ann Arbor weekend. But the location still requires you to get in the car and find a parking place in town 3 miles away. If the hotel offered free shuttles to games and downtown Ann Arbor it would be an overall 5. For those that are focused on shopping vs. the University and great town -- it's right across the street from the Briarwood Mall. Your Choice - I'd stay in the city if a room was available since it's such a great town!
