Reasonable Price
I enjoyed my stay here as it is located in a convenient spot. The staffs are friendly although not many on site. Internet connection fee is nothing. You should bring your own soap and shampoo. Cleaning is not included, but I think it is OK with this price. Avoid game days as the fee easily doubles.

Only for the desperate
good location completely offset by no frills atmosphere. Hard pillows and mattress, unexplained pipe noise in the middle of the night that woke us. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Bathroom door would not close. At least it was close to campus.

ESA Not for me
I stayed at the ESA in Ann Arbor while shooting a wedding in the area. So I needed a place with some room to spread my gear out and that would be secure. That was fine with this hotel. However, it was the little things that were really missing here. They did not have shampoo, which was annoying. The room was not clean (hairs in bathroom, lint balls in the carpet, etc). The ironing board leg was bent (so it was very low) and the slip cover kept coming off. When I called, they could not help me. The iron kept randomly turning off, so ironing a shirt and pants took about an hour. Also, they charge for w-fi. Yeah, the same stuff you can get for free at McDonald's, Starbucks, SUPER 8, and Motel 6. I will not be staying here again.

They did not have my reservation in their system. Thank God I printed a copy of your confirmation and had with me. Desk lady at ESA spent 20 minutes on the phone with [...]and I was finally allowed to register. I didn't need that after a long hot work day and a 200 mile drive to get there.

Reasonable for the price
Spent 4 nights here for a business trip. It is really nice to have the kitchen in the room, as it saves so much money in not having to eat out every night. Just remember to bring your own dish soap, paper towels, and sponge. The staff will not do your dishes, and you must pay $5-$10 for each "room refresh" (replacing towels, making the beds, etc.) I was very disappointed with the wireless internet. They charge you $5 for access for the full length of your stay, which while wi-fi is typically free, I didn't mind paying a few dollars. But as soon as you log in, it hits you up for another $10-$15 for "premium" connection, "or continue on with high-speed light". Yeah, the "high-speed light" was an intermittent near-dial-up-speed connection. It would kick you off every 15 minutes or so. I don't mind paying for good service, but it just felt like nickel and diming. Other than that, it's a pleasant no-frills place to stay. Great location, fairly quiet (at least when I was there). The staff was very courteous at the desk. Also, you get free access to a Bally's fitness center a short drive away. Nice perk.

Nice little kitchen
Nice little kitchenette with full size refrigerator and microwave. Well lit with a few dishes provided as well as a personal size coffee pot. Highway traffic sounds audible, but did not bother us. Courteous staff. Tire shop in nearby mall which proved helpful to us!
