Excellent Hotel in Alpena!
This Days Inn was extremely clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to an Applebee's and not very far from downtown Alpena.

Good trip
We had a good experience at Days Inn, Alpenia, MI. The staff was very helpful in providing directions to points of interest. The WI-FI worked well, which was not the case at other hotels. The NOAA maritime museum was very interesting. Did not go on the glasss bottom boat viewing shipwrecks.

Alpena Fun
We enjoyed the hotel. The staff were friendly and informative. The breakfast was well organized and plentiful. The room was quiet and clean. Nice small town atmosphere.

The boat cruise from the museum downtown to view the ship wrecks was most pleasant.

The room was clean and was inpressed with the bathroom. The shower/tub combo was new. The bed was hard.

There are many water sports activities available and lighthouses within a 30 minute drive.

Very clean and comfortable
This Days Inn is the best run I have ever stayed in. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Plenty of towels are provided. The show is a tub shower combination with a bowed shower curtain rack. This makes for plenty of room in the shower for bigger people and keeps the curtain from sticking to you as you shower. Check in and check out was quickly accomplished. The hotel grounds are well kept as well. When in Alpena this is the place to stay.

There is an Applebee's and McDonald's just down the road. If you need supplies a Walmart is 1/4 mile or so to the East.
