Great time
We had a very nice time. We enjoyed the view from outside and inside. Incredible Decor. Loved all the wooden furniture. Food was great and a lot. Everything was perfect. Bathroom was clean and really great to enjoy. We loved the bed, comfi and clean and very nice. We enjoyed your Hotel very much. We will be back again.

Eyebrow-raising for a Holiday Inn Express
We were booked for 4 in 1 room. Only 3 sets of towel were provided. Called front desk twice between 8-9PM to ask for 1 more set. Negative. During our 3rd call at 11PM, we were told to pick up the towels ourselves from the front desk since according to the clerk, nobody's in charge of housekeeping at that time. We were already too tired to go down from the 4th floor that night after a 7-hour drive from another state. So we waited for breakfast the next day to personally follow up our previous night's request. We stayed at a hotel across the street a month ago and the service over there was faster than lightning! That's what you call EXPRESS

Clean and close to Henry Ford Museum
A very well maintained hotel that was clean and provided courteous staff. The pool was very nice. Room was comfortable and quiet. Hotel left you with an overall comfortable feeling. Shopping was near by along with established dining. Henry Ford Museum was a direct shot from Hotel. Very nice for the money.

Nice room, nice staff
Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff. nice inviting sitting area/library with fireplace (although it was summer), priced okay. Good breakfast.

Holiday inn in alllen park sucks!!
Pretty bad!
Went to a concert in downtown detroit, the hotel got us a cab for the way there and when the concert was over we got blown off by our cab driver, so called the hotel to get another cab and it took over an hour and finally after severall phonecalls we got ahold of a cab which still took another 45 minutes ridiculous! Then we got back to the hotel finally and we had the enjoyment of smelling pot all night in our room and cigarette smoke called the front desk 2 times pretty sure nothing was done, then we called in the morning again and they offered to move us lol we were leaving in 2 hours come on $150 dollars a night for what?? Also just to add the rooms were uncomfortably hot! Bottom line if your going to detroit dont stay at the holiday inn in allen park.

Easy access
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. This was one of the nicest HIExpress Hotels that I have stayed in. The only problem was the heater in the room. It would not shut off so it made it like a sauna in the room, so I just shut it off.

Family Christmas getaway
The rooms were fine, exc. there wasn't a crib in the room as requested and it took a little while to get that resolved. There was only one chair in the room so relaxing in the room was awkward.

great stay at a great price
the room was very comfortable and decently priced. Aside from the front desk being slightly rude the staff and room was presented nicely. I would stay here again and again.
