Save money and sleep in at family-friendly Grand Traverse Bay area hotel

The room was clean and the hotel was very quiet. I only saw staff when I checked in & out. The complimentary breakfast was self serve and presented very nicely to help yourself. The location is excellant as well. I would definitely refer someone to this property.

There are so many resturants to choose from. It would be difficult to find a bad meal.

Perfect location; Very good breakfast included
We always enjoy our visits to the Traverse City, MI area. The Sleep Inn was comfortable, quiet, clean, and convenient to everything. The breakfast was very good with breads, fruits, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles. We liked that it was available until 10:00 a.m. as well. We recommend this hotel!

So many wonderful restaurants to choose from in Traverse City, and surrounding towns. Our favorites are North Peak Brewing Co., Mackinaw Brewing Co., Amical, Apache Trout Grill, Scott's Grill, Harrington by the Bay, Grand Traverse Pie Co., and so many more!

Comfortable business stay
I liked the ease in finding the hotel. It was so close to the Grand Traverse Resort. The staff was friendly even at 11pm! Although I requested a king size bed and got two double beds instead, the room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Costly lesson
Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Scenery is great as this location is across the street from the bay! I booked through O... though and it cost more that way. I'd call the hotel direct next time!

Terrible
We arrived there Friday evening, and the hallways and elevator were just covered with food and garbage. It was disgusting. We woke Sat morning at 6:30 am by the obnoxiously loud ice machine and screaming kids running up and down the hallway. In the 2 nights we stayed there we had to go to the front desk at least 5 times to have our keys reset because somehow they kept getting erased. I wouldn't recommend this pit to someone I didn't like. It was absolutely horrible

Very nice and clean
Nice staff and helpful personnel. Good location -- a little out of the center of town and so less traffic, etc. OK breakfast.

Poppycock, Bubba's -- both on Front Street in Traverse City -- excellent lunch, soups, etc. Fusion in Frankfort (about 30 miles away on Michigan 31) is really excellent Asian food and Frankfort was a nice day excursion. Bud's in Interlochen (the reason for the trip was to visit family there) -- OUTSTANDING coffee and food - breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very Nice
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that was a little annoying is that our room had been a smoking room before and as a non-smoker, we could still smell the smoke. They serve a nice breakfast from 6-10 am.
