Simple and Marvelous

We experienced a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere in a gorgeous small town setting while visiting friends in the area. The accomodations and services exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend this lakeside, comfortable and affordable Inn to everyone and don't forget the loom calls. They're beautiful. Chances are you'll meet one of the owners while checking in or out. They're very friendly and they live on the premises - so your investment is as important to them as theirs is. Enjoy!

Perfect destination

This was my second trip to Maine to visit the University of Maine Farmington. I chose this hotel because I wanted something on the water. The view of Wilton lake was breath taking. I had a room with two double beds that was very clean and spacious. The staff was very knowledgable about the area making great suggestions on places to eat. The hotel does offer water activities in the warmer weather. Looking forward to many more visits!

I would suggest if traveling to this area to stop and eat if your going to arrive after 700pm. Small town and shops close up early.

unbeatable location for the price

Our room was upgraded to a suite, which did not have a hairdryer. The front desk delivered the hairdryer pronto! The oven was handy for heating up the Indian Pudding I had made for the family reunion.

Wonderful Facility & Location

The Wilson Lake Inn is a great jumping off point to the Rangeley region of Maine. It is a gem located on Wilson Lake with beautiful gardens, clean rooms and an extremely helpful staff that is happy to guide you to all the local sights. Some of the best are in and around Rangeley and Mount Blue state parks. We came back to the Inn twice in one week!

Several choices in the town of Wilton and don't miss the Front Porch Cafe in Dixfield.
