Nice Place, Nice Room, Nice Location
We had a nice room on the ground floor overlooking the bay. We would go back. Minor inconviences were wireless in available only in the lobby, and there appeared to be quainter (and cheaper) places closer to the center of town. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great little spot!
Easily accessible location. Great views from balcony, and we loved the morning birdwatching on the river and its rushing sounds at night. Beds were not comfortable (squishy, no support), though room was large & clean. Heated pool and jacuzzi were delightful & well-maintained. Free decent coffee at all hours. Wish the free breakfast was open past 10 am, and that checkout was later than 11 am. Overall satisfied!

Quiet and Convenient
We thought the best part was being close to Ogunquit but being away from all of the tourism. It was perfect because we had a nice, large room with a balcony that overlooked the wildlife reserve, and, when we wanted to go to the beach, the friendly shuttle drivers took us there and back.

Long walk from hotel
Bandito's Burritos is a great hidden place for cheap and authentic Mexican eats...and it is BYOB so you can save money by bringing a bottle of wine or some beers!

Expected more, received less
The sheets were very uncomfortable and cheap, kept coming off the bed while you slept. Comforter had nasty stains on it and was very itchy. The price of the room was very high based on the quality of items in the room. Should only have gotten one star for the rating. The stairs leading down to the rooms on the outside are very steep and dangerous, thankfully it was not raining it would have made it worse. Made bringing luggage to and from room an ordeal. Free continental breakfast had very limited items and there was not enough room to sit with my family. Definitely would not recommend hotel to family or friends and will not use the hotel again when staying in the area.

We had a good 2-day stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly and premises were quiet. Very close to Ogunquit downtown.

Ogunquit River Plantation
The hotel was quiet and seemed under-populated. The primary problem that I had was that there was no indication when signing up that the hotel was just barely outside of the range of convenient walking distance to Ogunquit center. This made it very cumbersome for us. The room itself was nice enough, though the bathroom area desperately needed new lighting and the shower nozzle produced poor flow. The shared balcony was very nice and the view, although marred by seasonal flux in the river, was very pleasant, especially at night. Wireless networking was excellent and, though I was warned that signal might be weak, was strong enough for all my needs.

Bread and Roses Bakery. Great mini-quiche, muffins, etc. and a good selection of coffee and tea.
