Our stay
Enjoyed the 2 night stay. Rooms in suite were large and clean. Had all the little extras like large screen tv, dishwasher, WiFi, etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. Only down item was that the mattress on the bed was too hard (needs a pillow top), but that's only personal choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Mike's Lobsters---Buy fresh lobsters, they will cook them for you and you can pick them up and bring them back to your room when your ready to eat. Good price and excellent lobsters and other seafood.

Great Location Lots of Room
The front desk girl was awesome, we felt welcomed! I love the area and the location and room for the price was great to accommodate all of us comfortably.

Elmwood Resort Hotel
My wife and I were on our honeymoon and found the the Kittery Outlets with plenty to offer for her taste and mine. Along with the beaches even in March are quite nice. Route 1 in Wells, ME has alot to offer in the off season not just the great prices, it takes a little looking but plenty to do!!

Long walk from hotel
Walk Mile Rd. a short distance from the hotel to find some of the most beautiful beach houses and clean beaches with plenty of shopping and dinning in just on one short strip.

Impeccable!
This is a great place. I kept looking for dust or dirt and couldn't find any! It was as if every appliance or gadget in the room was brand new. We filled every moment of the day by eating, going to the beaches (Wells, Ongunquit and York), eating some more and a bit of very cool shopping, both locally and at the Kittery Outlets(on the way home). And we only stayed the weekend! Don't miss the Marginal Way 1 mile hike at Perkins Cove in Ongunquit...It's along the bluffs of the Ocean. Wells is a great location. You can go either way on Post Rd. and hit Kinnebunkport, Ongunquit, York or Kittery in less than 15 or 20 minutes. We will be repeat offenders of the Elmwood Resort Hotel.

Fisherman's Catch! Great seafood, excellent prices and well worth the long wait. I thinks it's Well's best kept secret.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, daily maid service a plus. The two bedroom suite had plenty of room for six. Excellent location. Separate entrances to suites, but shared porch- loud group next to us. Also vcr- dvd players did not work.( no big deal there) Great family vacation would recommend
