my wife and daughter and i spent friday and saturday night.we arrived around 4.30 check in my daughter wanted to get rite ... down to pool so we went down i got into the jaccuzi but i smelled something very faul like dead fish so needless to say i got out the jaccuzi water look like mud water very unsanitary it was gross and my wife would not go near it. I than went in the pool for a swim well the pool was not warm you would think that a in door pool would be at least warm no way it was cold,even some others said same.Rooms where good drapes had some sort of stains on them room smeled with smoke we bought a sented candle and kept it lit we would not go back there again we should of stayed at marriot at sable oak oh well next time.never again with the wyndham.

I chose this hotel primarily because the rooms had just been re-modeled. The room was clean and quiet, but I could not access ... the pay-per-view movies, nor was my room cleaned on the third day. I guess leaving the room after 12pm negates the hotel's responsibility to clean the room. I find this quite irritating since one of the perks in staying at any hotel is the luxury of not having to make your own bed. And I'm sure this service is included in the price. I also found the front desk personnel less than cheery - in fact they seemed rather annoyed - with everyone! I won't stay here again, the number one reason being the lack of maid service. There's other hotels in the area, such as the Embassy Suites, which have both the service and a free breakfast included in the price.

Not a problem at all. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Lunch one day was very very slow and they insisted on ... not charging for it. Is still in the process converting from Sheraton but wouls stay there again no question and we were there for 6 nites.

Basically everything you would need to shop for is within a couple miles. The mall and restaurants (Chili's, South of the Border) are directly across the street, Wal-mart & Target about 0.5-1 mile away, grocery store around the corner.

We went to Maine for 6 days and wanted to stay at a nice place with WiFi internet access. Very pretty hotel, nice bar in the ... lounge with flat screen tvs, staff was nice. Enclosed pool and fitness area. The room was nice and bed was really comfortable. Lots of windows (round glass buildings). Only draw back to room was there was no fridge and no DVD player but there is pay-per-view. Other potential draw-backs: breakfast was a great buffet, but not free - 10 bucks each person, and hotel is not in downtown or a nice little town, but it is minutes from the airport. Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in as far as comfort, cleanliness, and decor.

Stayed at Wyndham Portland while in Maine to attend a wedding in Kennebunkport. Hotel is located very close to Portland ... International Airport and ideally situated for trips to downtown Portland, Freeport (LL Bean), and also Kennebunkport and the outlets at Kittery. Maine Mall and various chain restaurants (Tim Horton's, IHOP, etc.) located very close to hotel.

Overall it was pretty nice, rooms were clean, The pool was inside with a hot tub which was nice, The front desk help was very ... friendly and was helpful in giving us tips and directions on things to see while in portland. You could walk across the street to the mall if you needed anything. No continental breakfast and there wasnt an ice machine on every floor. Rooms didnt have a fridge or microwave which made it hard to keep perishables in the room. The mattress on the bed wasnt veryu comfortable. Overall it was a nice stay.

We needed a place to crash for the night near the airport (flight got in late) before driving up to Bar Harbor. The hotel ... was right next to the airport, was clean, had friendly staff and a large comfortable room. The price was comparable to the more discounted hotel/motels and was just the "no frills" spot we needed.

Rooms were clean. Location is convenient to airport, Maine Mall (across street). Unfortunately contstruction was underway on ... the Maine Mall Road, but this was only a minor issue. Close to entrance ramps for I295 and I95 for travel to Freeport for shopping. I would use this hotel again. Got a good deal on a car+hotel for an overnight trip.

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. On the way out a bracelet fell in the little pool in front of the hotel. We were ... afraid it was lost forever. The hotel staff retrieved it and made our stay even better for it.

It has all of the amanities of the high price ... hotels at a lower cost to you.The rooms are large and quite,close to the airport and shopping mall is arcoss the street plenty of dinning,While I'm in Portland,Maine i will aways stay at the Wyndham.
