Reasonable rates with an outdoor pool, breakfast and free Wi-Fi

Needs some work
We didn't check in until 1:00 a.m. (we were exhausted) and the front desk person was less than welcoming. We booked a king bed but were given two queens instead. The room was filthy upon check in and had debris all over the carpet. The breakfast staff were very helpful/courteous. The evening crew the next night made a great recommendation for a restaurant. Overall, this was the least luxurious Fairfield Inn I've stayed in, but the location was very convenient to the airport, Mall and restaurants.

House Keeping poor
When we checked in we had to ask for toilet tissue and soap. The next day when returning to the room from the beach house keeping had left no towels in the room.

Great Time!
Clean room, comfy pillow topped beds, kind helpful staff, nice continental breakfast, clean pool. Did I mention, kind and helpful staff? Very pleasant place to stay. My 8 year old really liked it and wanted to stay longer (though we don't get away much :) Rooms are getting tight these days in every newer location so we were prepared for the one at a time bathroom. The online deal was great. Fast check in and out! FAST :) Definitely Recommend this hotel.

Hotel is close to all to do in Portland Scarborough area. Go to the "locals" beaches NOT Old Orchard if you want peace and quiet. In the summer MUST Wear bug spray for the nasty beach horse flies. Ferry Beach is our favorite because it is in an inlet and the water is warmer for the kids. There are no waves but a cool sand bar appears at mid tide.

We traveled there for a family wedding. We were glad to be on the first floor near the lobby but found the room very very small with not much space for toilet articles and luggage. The room was nice, clean, cheerful but we just needed more space. The bed was a queen and we expected a king. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful and the breakfast quite adequate. It was so busy though, that it was hard to find a seat. One of our least favorite things was a fan in the bathroom that runs every time you turn on the light! The location wss good and overall we found it okay.

What a disappointment
staff was polite, but The rooms smelled like body odor. I was switched once and decided to not complain the second time with the same problem. And the hallways smelled like cigar. Room a bit dated but it did not bother me as much as the food stains on the box spring cover, and hair in the bath tub.

The outside heated pool was wonderful! The only thing better than the pool was the continental breakfast. The staff could have been a little warmer -- but, that didn't seem to matter as the warmth of the water surrounded me.

OK.....just ok
