Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, Accommodating
We traveled to Maine to visit family for Thanksgiving. The front desk staff was wonderful; very efficient, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was excellent; king bed with a firm mattress that we found to be very comfortable, great little recliner, computer work-space and nice kitchen area. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Maine!

Shaw's supermarket is only a couple minutes drive which saved us a lot of money on food this trip, as we were able to pick up items and prepare simple meals right there in the room. Having a full-size refrigerator was helpful, too, for all the Thanksgiving left-overs!

shaws market was a short walk from the hotel with several other stores in the area.it is a country seen around the area where this hotel lots of trees and green grass.

This hotel is in an excellent location to several shopping areas. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. I traveled at night and was hard to see the sign from the road. The room has a full refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner range and sink. My biggest complaint was the room smelled, possibly from the cooking that took place in the room. For families that are looking for a place that is close to shopping and the beach, this may be a good choice.

Maine Mall is a short drive. Cabella's is within a mile. Downtown Portland is about a 10 minute drive with a lot of great restaurants and shopping in the Old Port.

Shabby and oderous
My sleeping 2-year old and I arrived at 11:00pm. There was no place to park out front, so I had to get my son out of the car to check in. The girl at the counter was wearing a grey college sweatshirt, so I wasn't even sure she worked there. No one offered to assist me. The elevator smelled horrible. The hallway carpet was old and stained. My room was stuffy and smelled of old cigarettes. The mattress had a waterproof cover that crinkled under the scratchy sheets. This was the kind of place I was afraid to walk around barefoot in!

HARD beds
Overall the Exstended Stay Hotel was good. It allowed me to cook in. However the wireless is slow, and spotty, and the bed was rock hard.

Perfect location
From check-in to checkout the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were alittle uncomfortable. But overall i would recommend this hotel.

Very Friendlly & Economical
Extended Stay America was great! I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It had a queen bed, recliner, desk and table with chairs, bathroom and a kitchenette. I was in Portland, Maine for a funeral and my hotel stay made it easier for me to get back and forth to where I needed to go quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently. I DEFINITELY would recommend this hotel.
