Motel is located ideally within a short distance from popular vacation locations, Old Orchard Beach, Funtown/Splashtown and Aquaboggan Water Park, just to name a few. A short distance to the largest city in Maine, Portland. Portland offers great shopping and entertainment, it is second only to San Francisco for some of the finest restaurants anywhere. Just north of Portland, you will find Freeport, Maine, the home of L.L. Bean or south to the largest outlet mall on the East Coast in Kittery, Maine. Maine's U.S. Rt. 1 north or south offers unique fishing villages, water cruises, whale watching and lighthouses. Indoor heated pool is seasonal - open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Rodeway Inn did not offer dinning room.....however, within walking distance a handful of restaurants available....did not participate in fast foods which were available as well....Wife and I prefer a sit down place and enjoy a wonderful New England meal....

Decent place to stay

This is the second time I have been to the hotel. The rooms are still clean. The beds are still more firm than I like. The TV works but the remote was picky. I sure couldn't find any movie channel, but didn't spend extra time to look. I didn't use the kitchette, but it was there if I wanted it. It is close to a grocery store and several fast food places. It was a decent hotel for the price.

Overpriced but clean

The hotel staff seemed to be one guy who was very nice and friendly. The lobby was about the size of a typical elevator in another hotel. The room very small, out of the 70's but clean. I paid $137 for the night but felt a good rate woudl have been $45. Way overpriced. I would not stay again.

too much disinfectant

I got a smoking room and the smell of disinfectant was overwelming. had to go out for fresh air at night. If I wasn't so tired I probably would have left. Went there to relax a bit but couldn't wait to go home.

good location

The hotel was easy to find and the location was good. If you're going to the waterparks the hotel is really close. It was clean slightly old but not dirty like a few other places we've stayed in the past. It had a small kitchen area with a stove and fridge which is great if you're staying for multiple days on a budget. Not within walking distance to the beach and quiet evenings.

Very Nice Inn!

The Rodeway Inn Saco was a very pleasant stay for me. I engaged in a worry-free vacation thanks to the constant friendliness and upkeeping of the Inn staff and I felt confident that they would be reliable for any needs I did have. I enjoyed the changing of sheets daily and the considerate applications to my room such as the cups left at the sink for anything I brought back to drink and the kitchen appliances left in the cabinet for me if I so chose to cook in the room I was staying at. The light fixtures were many and appropriately located, giving me a well lit room if I needed! Another benefit was it`s in very close proximity to the heart of Saco`s town where restaraunts and small diners are in the many. I was very impressed.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Make sure to stop at Rosalinda`s! It`s a very comfortable diner two blocks from the Rodeway Inn Saco and it serves excellent breakfast and dinner!
