Pretty, Nice Hotel
Slightly remote location. We had a ground floor room right next to the conference center - very quiet till about 8:30 am. Clean and comfortable, basic. There are rennovations going on which limited car access to a degree. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and polite.

Comfortable and Friendly
We come to the Ramada now every time we visit family in Maine. This is by far our favorite hotel! From the friendly and helpful front desk staff, to the comfortable pillow top beds and big fluffy bath towels and the 24 hour coffee, tea and oatmeal, as well as free continental breakfast, this is a wonderful hotel at a great price!

Early Thanksgiving
I was really pleased with the value. The meal options were limited, but were all good food. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed our stay of two nights. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. The reason for staying here was that the breakfast was included - and it was fantastic! Not only a really nice selection, but tasty too! Cinn. rolls, scrambled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh fruits, cereal, milk, juices, yogurt, toast, bagels, and of course coffee. That was day one. Many of the same for day 2, but cheese omelets with a side of salsa instead of scrambled eggs.

Great value
Great location for traveling the southern coast of Maine. The Portland light house and the Nubble light were both close to the hotel along with old orchard beach.

weekend getaway with family
We went to a birthday party in Sanford. Although we were there at 4:30 pm to check in we were located on 3 different floors. The hotel did not seem to be full. This was disappointing and very inconvenient for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers need something to restrict flow. A lot of water is being wasted. Also, there are only 12 breakfast tables for a 4 floor hotel. Pretty crowded in the morning. I would stay again.

Very Disappointed
Our stay at this hotel was very frustrating. The Hotel rooms were unkept; the carpeting in the hallways was filthy, and the elevator (they only have one) carpet was so filthy that they had placed a remnant piece over the old carpeting, and it was filthy! The coat rack in the room fell as soon as we hung up or clothes, and we had to keep calling to request hand towels the whole time we were there. There are 5 floors of rooms, plus additional rooms on a building adjacent to the main lobby, but there was only one ice machine in the whole hotel. We stayed in July and the weather was over 90, and we had to purchase ice at a local gas station. There are no newspaper stands at or near the hotel.

Relaxing stay
My best friend and I went to Maine for Old Orchard Beach, so the Ramada Saco was perfect. It wasn't to far and it was away from the crowds. The service was great, and the rooms were clean. The free wifi was fast. My only complaint was some of the other guests were very loud on the floor above our room, which was hardly the fault of the hotel. And another thing was that room service came at 8am knocking on the door. I'm not sure if that's the norm for hotels but that's to early, we wanted to get up at 9am everyday. In all it was a fantastic stay.
