VOLKER
SACO MOTEL IS A GOOD VALUE
The room was clean, and we enjoyed high ceilings. Landscaping was very attractive, however there were some cigarette butts and other trash on the ground. Location is perfect - very close to town and the beach.

If you are a "fancy" customer and picky, you definitely should not stay here. It is just a normal room with TV, cable, AC, private bathroom, etc. Nothing special about it. Clean? Yeah, let's say so! But not too clean either. The place needs to be done some maintenance. for 1-2 nights stay, it is fine for a low budget. If you plan to stay longer, pay some extra bucks for that extra "something" other hotels have.

not horrible, but also not great
I stayed there with my girlfriend everything was pretty good except, it really needed better locks. While laying down on the bed some guy walked right into our room when we had already locked the door (needless to say scared the heck out of us). But aside from that if you have a business trip and just want a quick weekend thing while getting your work done this is pretty convenient... grocery store around the corner and fridge, microwave, table with chair, and also even a washing sink and a stove to cook with (though the stove was a bit weak it did get the job done). Overall good price and amenities only real problem was door locks, but since there was a chair in the room my advice is just use that as your back up lock. ;-P

Small fridge... great if you like to have a bowl of cereal in the mornng since you can keep your milk in there (as well as anything else you want to preserve from spoiling)

Needs repairs for playground & gen maint
We've stayed here in the past but place has gone down hill as far as maintenance. The pool area was dirty/floor slimy despite this place has a great pool. The staff was nice and room was very clean.

staff has not kept up this motel.the playground is an accident waiting to happen!many things in disrepair on this property.rooms were run down.
