Exactly what I wanted.
I needed a hotel to stay at, close to the beach area. It's within a 5 minute walk to Old Orchard Beach. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I stayed in a 'smoking' room (it was what was available) and I couldn't tell it was a smoking room. The bed was fine, and I really only needed the room as a place to sleep after doing several shows at the clubs in the area. It was quiet, the air conditioning worked and a fridge in the room for nice cold water. I will use the facility again, no doubt.

Least expensive, but......
Very friendly staff and what appears to be new or recent ownership. Rooms are in great need of repair. No water pressure, no dead bolt, no land line. Looks like there are attempts at renovation but a long way to go. On the bright side it was one of the lower rates during season.

Great basic amenities. Great management.
[...], the Hotel manager, is an excellent Gentlman. Extremely accomodating. You really can't beat the service for the price.

Good For last minute
not bad for a last minute pick the price was right and it wasn't a bad stay the rooms were kinda small and the beds were not super comfortable but i slept fine its a nice short walk away from the pier so we did a lot of walking witch was good because parking is expensive now the hotel staff was nice and respectful the manger even worked with me because i couldn't make it until late all in all not a bad budget stay

looking for a really fancy restaurant try the land Mark hotel not a far walk from the pier cant miss it right on the main road amazing lobster and killer steak!

The room was old, the place was dirty. the room was supposed to be handicap accessible and on the first floor but actually up a steep hill.

Overall pleased. Bed was uncomfortable. Outdated bathroom. No iron available. Very poor water pressure in shower.

Use only for sleepover?
For the $ we paid,rooms are in very poor condition! To start with,there are no continental breakfast there. swimming pool inop, rooms were not cleaned or vacummed. Very small room. Pink tiled bathroom from the 70's. For the $ we paid, we wanted to leave right away but we had no where to go! It was a very close to beach within walking distance.Thats the only positive thing I can say about Knights Inn.I do have pictures if you would like to see this hotel.
