When we first got there, we loved the views, the pool and hot tub that we saw. Once we saw the room we were placed in, we were both very disappointed. It was definitely not like $220/night rooms we've had before. It was old, and the carpet was
ratty. We changed to another part of the hotel - a $315/night room, which was closed in quality to a $200/night room. We did spend some time in the Hot tub (or should I say the luke-warm tub) on the far side of the hotel (about a 7 minute walk through the hotel, and then the sauna (which was hot). You can see the cliff without having to stay there. We plan to visit the area again in Aug., but we will use a different hotel.

On the corner of Shore Road and rte 1A, there is a small restaurant that has lobster rolls for $10. Good value. Clam chowder was good too. Went there for breakfast next day (blueberry pankakes). Try their root beer and coffee too. Downtown York and Ogunquit were nice.
