Meadowmere Resort

Great The hotel could not be any better.

Went to see a concert at Jonathan's which is next door to hotel-convenient location-easy walk to downtown. Generous free continental breakfast.

We loved the location of the hotel. There was tons of traffic heading towards the town center, beach, etc. But luckily, we were able to just walk from the hotel to these places. The rooms were slightly smaller than what I expected for a resort hotel and for the price I paid. But I assume there are many different types of room there.

As they say; location is everything. Ogunquit is quite and full of charm, yet has plenty to do and see. Located within a short driving distance of beaches, shopping and sightseeing, it makes the perfect place to relax. The room was small but clean. It would have seemed more spacious with a single queen bed instead of two.

We were told that our room was being upgraded to a luxery room with a two person hot tub and fire place. We slept in a king size four poster bed covered in pillows and a fluffy down comforter. We have stayed at the Meadowmere many times and we have never been dissapointed.

The staff take GREAT PRIDE in "their" resort and it shows. The attention to our every question, comment and request was first rate. The cleanliness of our room, the pool, the gym, the very hallways of the resort were spotless and pleasing. Extremely reasonably priced resort for all it has to offer and it's fantastic location. The entire staff just could not do enough for us and put our stay over the top. We are repeat guests and have stayed in many other locations throughout Maine but could find none better than the Meadowmere. We are so looking forward to our return trip in April!

When we arrived to check in we were informed that the credit card was declined (it worked prior to and after this- not sure what went wrong there) and we had no room. The woman behind the desk asked "Didn't anyone from Orbitz call you?". Answer: no, they didn't. Thanks for wasting our time! We called the next day and got an insufficient explanation. I will never use Orbitz again, and I will let all of my friends know!

We were very satisfied with our room along with its cleanliness. The proximity to the heart of Oquinquit was a short walk down Rte. 1. I would highly recommend the Meadowmere as an affordable place to stay with fine facilities while in Maine.

The room was comfortble. Lots to do and close to the beach and town. Indoor / outdoor sauna and indoor / outdoor pool, gameroom, bar, resturant, and room service. What else could you want!

Like all new places you go to you have your concerns, but I must say we lucked out. It was easy to get to and our check-in was no problem. We would have preferred a balcony, but we were given a room in the back building. The room was very nice, but the bathroom was very small with the sink outside the bathroom. This is not our favorite set up. The view out the sliding doors was of some tables and chairs and it was nice to see people making use of them. The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to help us with dinner reservations (it was my wife's birthday)and with any thing else we needed. The location was excellent for walking to any area we were interested in going. When we come back to the area I am sure we will stay here again.
