Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Offered from 630-1000 which was nice. Nothing bad about this place, can walk to town, marginal way and beach.

Pretty on the Outside but .....
ErnieJ Sep 9, 2009
The motel looks very nice outside and the room was clean. The beds were crouded into the room (one up against the wall) and ... we had to move the desk to plug in our computer. The toilet sounded like a rocket blast. I am sure our neighbors heard it because we sure heard theirs! The pillows should have been thrown out years ago. We were on the first floor and the ceiling creaked with ever step the second floor guests took. Not much sound proofing between rooms either. Love Ogunquit - great place - will stay someplace else next time.

Nice for the Price!
Nancee Sep 4, 2009
We arrived to well-groomed lawns and 2 outside pools beckoning to us on a hot sunny day. our room was on ground level, clean ... comfortable, quiet and complete with refrigerator! breakfast was close by the next morning. we were able to get on the trolley in front of the inn; we also walked into the town once as its not far away. the marginal way, a 1 mile walk along the ocean, is wonderful--in fact we did it 3 times! great area for picture taking. the restaurants at the end were reasonably priced and the food was good. we were able to watch the fog come in late in the day while we ate! try this inn for convenience, cleanliness, peace & quiet--we would go there again!

Can't beat walking to the beach!
The Canavan Clan Aug 18, 2009
We had a great couple of days...two absolutely beautiful days at Ogunquit beach!! The walk from Juniper Hill Inn really isn't ... too long. But I wish we were better prepared and had something to pile all our stuff onto, rather than the 4 of us getting loaded up like pack mules! We did quite a lot of walking....mostly leisurely and enjoyable, but be prepared. We would love to go back and would stay at Juniper Hill again. A pretty good value for the location. Again, can't beat walking to the beach!! Don't know why, but we got a room upgrade...bigger room with 2 queen beds rather than 2 doubles, but it was the very last room at the far end of the property. Still fine and pretty close to the outdoor pools.

If you take the kids to York's Wild Animal Kingdom, the zoo is pretty neat, but the rides are pretty stinky. The rides maybe for the kids, but definately not for grown ups.

YSY Jul 23, 2009
Having read numerous reviews before we booked, the only reservation I had concerned distance/access to the beach as I am well ... into my '80's. The walk was pleasant and felt like a short stroll. If a ten minute walk is too much, the trolley will take you there or to Perkins cove from in front of inn. I was surprised at the number of good restaurantswithin walking distance (including delicious pizza/salads at Julie's). It was easy to relax after the beach at one of the outdoor or indoor pools/jacuzzi or simply to read in the small garden area behind the main house. My grandson (20) enjoyed the fitness room. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We ran into a problem at check-in when our rooms had been changed for some reason, and we got king bed rooms rather than queens or doubles. Despite the fact that they were heavily booked, [...] managed to switch things around to ensure our initial requests were satisfied. My daughter shared her room with 2 teens, and they were also provided a comfy rollaway. They reported that they had room for everybody and everything, including the leftovers they needed to refrigerate. The rooms by the main house had just been renovated. They were very clean and comfortable, and as expected, we enjoyed the aromatic soaps and lotions. The breakfast was adequate and provided something favorite for everyone in the family. The office became a welcome spot to sip hot chocolate, coffee, tea... and use the computer (complimentary). All of these features, coupled with helpful, friendly staff at the inn made for one of my all-time-favorite faily trips.

I love everything about this hotel. We tried to stay here a couple of years ago but there was no vacancy. This year we were ... lucky. I like that it is within walking distance of town so you don't have to find a parking space. I wished we could have stayed longer than 4 days!

We stay at the Juniper Hill Inn evertime we visit Ogunquit Maine. The rooms are great and the hotel staff is wonderful. The ... best feature of this hotel is you can walk down the hill to all the stores and restaurants in town-it is only a block away. There are two pools here one inside and one outside and behind the hotel is a footpath to the ocean.
