The Shiretown Inn and Suites located on US Route 1 just off Interstate 95 is the place to stay for Business Travelers Seniors Group Tours and Families on vacation. The Shiretown Inn and Suites is the only Lodging facility in the area featuring an Indoor Pool fItness center and Lounge. We are centrally located just 5 minutes from the Historical Downtown Business District and 3 miles from the Canadian Border. Due to our exceptional location in Southern Aroostook County The Shiretown Inn and Suites is a Four Seasons Tourist Destination. In the Spring and Summer we are only a short drive from the areas many Lakes and Streams. ATV enthusiasts will appreciate our the Massive trail system that is connected directly to our Parking lot. Fall brings hords of visitors to the area to enjoy the spectacular colors of the folliage as well as the excitement of the popular Moose Deer and Ruffled Grouse hunts. With the arrival of snow winter provides over 1000 miles of the best Snowmobile Trails in the Northeast. We are located directly on ITS 83.

The hotel had all that could be expected but I feel they price could be a little high for the condition. Rooms are large and pool is indoor. Being handicaped made it difficult to unload and load vehicle due to distance from room to parking.
