great value

If you're looking to travel in style, this isn't the place. But if you want a hotel that is clean, quiet, convenient, with friendly staff and ample parking, for a bargain price, this is a great choice. The continental breakfast is good but seating is limited. Recommended especially for single travellers paying their own way, and couples travelling on a budget.

Clean, Clean, Clean!

This is a basic hotel, nothing fancy. It should be noted, though, that the rooms are immaculately clean! The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast provided was simple (cereal, toast, a few pastries, coffee, juice), but again, the dining area was spotless, and well tended. Location is close to other restaurants, and the downtown area.

Good Place to Land

This is a clean, simple, well supplied place to land. It is conveniently located just outside the downtown area. Beds were comfortable. It had a refrigerator, iron, microwave and plenty of room. The breakfast offered in the office was basic - cereal, coffee (no real half/half), some fruit and bagels, etc. Compared to other places at the same rate it was definately nicer, cleaner and quieter than others.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There are a lot of great places to eat in Brunswick - El Camino, the Great Impasta, Broadway Diner, and there is one place in the mill (can't think of its name) with the flea markets which are tons of fun. Plus Bull Moose Music has really late hours so you can go after dinner and buy and browse for music.

Older style motel.

This motel is OK for a decent nights rest but if your looking for posh treatment you may want to look elsewhere. The room was reasonbly clean but the fixtures as well as the motel are very dated. The staff was friendly and gave us some options for dining out. Location was right on our route so that worked out well.

Nice place for the money

Room was clean and in good shape, this place has been making improvements since I stared to use them about 2 years ago and it shows. Resurfaced parking lot, repainting outside and in, lights all work properly outside, internet is fast as can be expected, etc. Not a bad place for the money (given the prices in that part of Maine during tourist season...)

A good value

I was attracted to the Travelers because it was perfectly located for my plans the following morning, and it was cheap. I was pleasantly surprised to get a warm welcome and a good dinner suggestion. Also, the parking lot was spotless -- an odd thing to bring up, I realize, but I felt it was a good indication of the care the management paid to the overall condition of the place. Well, the furniture in the room was a little tattered, but overall, the parking lot indicator was correct. Also worth noting: fridge and microware in the room.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Next to the Cabot Mill Antique "mall" there's an interesting indoor flea market on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
