Not as advertised!
This was one of the worst experiences that we have ever had. It was not worth the price[...]. The room was tiny with a 7 foot ceiling. There was only a standup shower, no tub. The room did not match the pictures or discriptions that were shown online. There was no WIFI as advertised. The manager kept telling us that the wireless modem was working. We could only get an unsecured connection from another local business. The cable channels did not match the listings or the autoprogramed titles on the TV screen. The furniture was old and worn. We stayed two nights and although they did change the towels they did not make the bed. The staff was very polite but they had difficulty understanding and speaking english. It made us wonder if this was the room that was set aside to be used for the discounted rates. The Choice Hotel line needs to seriously check out this franchise because it could easily give them and the Rodeway Inn franchise a bad reputation.

As good as any cheap motel...
Room was clean and properly stocked, staff was friendly, they have a pretty good breakfast for a cheap(ish) motel with coffee, toasted bread-type products, waffles, cereal and the like available. My only complaint was that my room was RIGHT on the road, this place has a sorta U shaped part with a leg that comes off one end and along the road, which was where I was. Kinda noisy, but I didn't hear anything actually IN the room, which was plenty quiet.

Not Applicable
Friendlys is relatively nearby for your standard issue meal, but the Miss Brunswick Diner on Pleasant Street (which is kinda at the other end of town, you pass it on your way into town on the right, small red building, if you get off 95) is open 24 hours Friday and Saturday and has a much better breakfast menu. Bring cash, no cards or checks accepted. For something a little better than standard fair there have got to be a dozen great restaurants in Brunswick, pick one and enjoy.

Just outside the main business area so it was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. So food and stores were just down the road.

Just what we needed
Our family needed a comfortable place to stay for a quick overnight. At the discount price that we paid we were not expecting some of the little touches that we found. OK, so it's kind of a busy(yet convenient)location right on a main road, but the room was sufficient and had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and ironing board and iron. This may have been an upgrade because of a slight mix-up, in that we arrived in the PM to find that the room assigned to us was not made up. As soon as we mentioned this to the front desk, we were immediately given new accommodations. Upon check out, we were able to visit the small breakfast area in the lobby to fuel up with coffee and a bagel. All in all, a very good value.

A Perfect Homebase
The Rodeway Inn is affordable, well-situated, and clean. Its location isn't scenic by any means, the area surrounding the are being very "stripmall-ish," but the motel is just minutes away from the very scenic historic Bath Downtown. And, if one feels like a slightly longer drive, take a left outside the motel's door, and enjoy a beautiful 25 minute drive to spectacular Bailey Island. I strogly recommend the Rodeside Inn for affordable and clean motel accomodation.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
The motel is situated minutes away from a WalMart, Pizza Hut, TK Max, etc. (There are many options to choose from. There's also a cinema within walking distance. In fact, pretty much everything is within walking distance.)
