Terrific Place
Had a one night reservation, when we saw the hotel and the room, we immediately switched it to two nights. The room was very spacious, lots of wood trim and a gas fireplace/stove in the corner. The setting was up on the hill overlooking the bay, so we had a water view. The property is immaculate and the folks at the hotel, very friendly. Lots of activities if you have kids along, fitness center, spa, hoola hoops, biking, fishing, kayaking and more! I will definitely be back!

Great Getaway in Maine
We booked this room at the last minute....the night before....and everything went better then we could have imagined. The room was large, spotlessly clean, with a gas fireplace that was perfect for the chilly Maine coast night. First rate breakfast, just a really nice place.

The best, the best, and the best
From the time we arrived, we were treated like family. The room was immaculate, the service excellent, the food was wonderful, the location --the best. It was a most enjoyable experience. We will go back.

Natural beuaty & tasteful accomodations
Located right on the Harbor with their own dock and kayaks. Jacuzzi and pool on the water (bay is too cold to swim in). Staff very helpful, one waitress seemed a bit harried, but otherwise lovely staff. Nice jacuzzi, tennis courts. I didn't use the spa or have dinner, but it seemed popular with the guests I met. Only sore point (no pun intended) was that we had a bit of back trouble after sleeping on the (too soft and lumpy) beds. One of our neighbors left early with back trouble, too. Hopefully this will get fixed. It's a perfect place to stay otherwise. Comparable to other resorts I have stayed at, but with a natural beauty to its physical location. I would recommend to a friend. Great pottery. Proximity to Maine Maritime Museum, Popham Beach and Fort William Henry all a plus.

Long walk from hotel
Take on of the Puffin Cruises that run Wed. and Fri from Pier 7. Runs 3 hours and the birds and tour are delightful. It's a long (~1.2 mi) walk to the pier, but worth it as parking is hard to find.
