Lovely Queen Anne Victorian in the heart of Belfast's historic district on quiet side street, a block from Penobscot Bay. Stroll to historic Main Street shops, harbor, cafes, galleries, theatres, and parks. Named for the stain glass turret that encases the oak spiraling staircase. Lounge on one of our two columned verandas with wicker porch furniture, bistro sets and porch swing overlooking beautiful gardens and historic homes. Ornate woodwork, fireplaces, antiques, and Victorian decore add to the magic of The Jeweled Turret Inn. Seven romantic luxury guest chambers with A/C and fans, 4-poster, iron & brass beds, private baths with "English Spa" toileties; some with turrets, fireplaces, whirlpools. Gourmet breakfasts, refreshments, evening crackers, cheese, sherry. Day trips to Acadia National Park, lighthouses, islands, breath-taking sailing cruises. "Smell the sea air; explore the beauty of coast and islands... visit the charms of historic Belfast, Maine!"

Very Professional but Bed not so Comfy

I had the Ruby room with my fiance and although the house is really beautiful well kept and interesting to look all the stuff in it, the queen bed isn't very comfortable for two. It was hard and I felt his every move waking me up a few times. I am a light sleeper so some of it is my problem. It is tolerable though. I don't expect it to be exactly like home. Food was good and the owner/cook works her butt off to keep everything in place and nice for us!

Go to the owner's recommended dinner spot on the Ocean called the Lobster Pound. Awesome experience!

Outstanding in every way!!!!

This wonderful Inn is truly a treasure. It is a Victorian impeccably restored and furnished. Their attention to detail is amazing. Truly a treat to visit. And the food......I am running out of superlatives!! Excellent!! And, the cost is very reasonable.

Darbys' for dinner is a really good choice. It is downtown, a small bar, and really good food.
