Super low-cost option

This is a superb example of the tiny motels/cottages that are so popular in Maine. The rooms are small, but the furnishings are in good condition. The bedding was very good, as was the shower. The buildings & grounds were cute and well maintained. This facility offers a lot of quality for the $$$ especially considering the good location.

Good stay

We decided to extend our stay by another night bacause it was clean, comfortable in a quiet setting and near to Bar Harbor and it's amazing views. Acadia National Park is a must see place as well. You won't be disappointed at Eden Village, it should have three stars.

Short getaway

Very clean and quiet. Stayed in the motel and didn't hear any traffic. Short drive to entrance of Acadia but longer to Bar Harbor.

Breath of fresh air

Lovely little spot with immaculately clean cottages and rooms. Each room has a small back porch equipped with a picnic table. Quiet and spotless. Nicely equipped with BBQ grills for those inclined. Nice little lake on property. Would definitely stay there again. Quiet location, yet close to everything. Very gracious office staff. Frig and microwave in room. Was definitely a place I would book again. My wife and I loved it! Nice change from the everyday type of motel.

Sorry I missed The Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound. Chose a fancier, pricier restaurant at Bar Harbor. Great meal but missed what I found out is one of the better no-frills lobster places in Maine. Was recommended to my by desk but went elsewhere.

great place to stay close to Acadia NP

This little motel was great to stay at. There is a motel with about 8 rooms and several small cottages. We stayed in the motel part and could not have been more pleased. The owners are in their second year and have remodelled the motel over the winter. The rooms are clean and simple and include a little kitchenette (microwave and decent size fridge). There is a little patio with a grill out back. It is clean, quiet and pleasant.

Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are just a short drive down the road. If you enjoy a decent hike, be sure to do the Beehive Trail in ANP. Magnificent.

Clean, hospitable stay.

This is a sweet, old-fashioned motel with cute little cabins, as well as a group of connected hotel rooms. Staff was very nice. We got lost. It was dark, and the desk clerk had to give us directions twice before we found it. She was very patient. Rooms needed to have a few more cups and towels.

The BEST Breakfast can be enjoyed at Cafe This Way. All of the food offerings were excellent, especially the blue berry pancakes, canadian bacon, and maple syrup. Excellent coffee, as well. Great place to go!! For Lobster, try Trenton Lobster pound. So good.

Bar Harbor - a great place to visit.

Motel is old & paneled but clean, comfortable, and reasonable. Very nice grounds and well taken care of. Manager was quick to respond to request. Location was too far from downtown. Shower had little pressure and difficult to regulate. Pillows were flat.

Great place for the price

It was very quiet and peaceful because it was not right in town. You could see the stars at night! It also is close to Hadley's Point, which is a beautiful spot to walk along the ocean.

Shades of the 50's

Great Price! Watched an osprey hawk take a bass out of the fishing pond. All accommdations are set back from the hwy. Quaint cabins in a 1950s style resort. Motel rooms are spacious and include fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
