Our stay was wonderful. Love the new remodels to the pool and it was nice not to be woken up by drunk people leaving Barnabys. My only complaint was the lack of housekeeping service. We stayed 3 days, they did not remove our trash until after we
called the front desk.
Stayed at his hotel for the Rise Above Festival down at the Waterfront in Bangor. The room (king sized bed room) I had was very clean and the front desk people were extremely nice. They had a free shuttle to the concert venue which picked us up
when it was over no extra charge. According to a family member who stayed at the Holiday Inn down the street, I got a steal in price for the room. I enjoyed my stay entirely and will definitely book again for next years Rise Above Fest!
The staff was very helpful in general, and the restaurant staff was particularly nice about accommodating our wide range of food needs (seniors, kids, allergies, etc...).
Rooms were standard - very clean, good strong shower, comfy beds.
The facility was clean, well-cared for, and well-furnished. The room was comfortable and met my standards - included microwave, refrigerator, coach, and desk in the room. The only negative is that the hallway doors were not installed so that they
seal out all sound completely and the sound proofing in the walls could have been a bit greater. Otherwise, it was well worth the value for a couple nights stay rather than paying twice the amount per night to stay in a B&B or hotel along the more touristy main coast or in Bar Harbor during peak season.
