Motel 6 Bangor

It was awful. Found on the bed sheets: blood stain and hair.... Had to purchase own sheets, pillow and blanket.

Open the room door looked around and immeadiately checked out. Have stayed at several motel 6's But never ran into a DUMP like this!!!!!!!

You really do get what you pay for when you stay here. The carpet was dirty. I had a new pair of shoes and new pair of white tube socks that turned dark brown just walking in them from the door to the bed. THe room did smell bad, I though it was a smoking room that pets had stayed in but the housekeeping staff said it wasn't. The whole hotel needs to be revamped. Just up the street from a discount cinema, and the airport is very close. But it is next to a tire shop so both nights I stayed there I woke to noise of tires being changed at 8AM. What can you really expect for $54 dollars? I would stay here again but I would be sure to bring my own slippers and some air freshener.

Basic motel that was clean and adequate for a night's stay. Location was convenient to downtown waterfront pavilion and other downtown attractions. The outside of the place looked a little run-down and we were worried that we had made a mistake, but the room was clean and the front desk personnel were very nice and helpful. We had originally reerved a room with one queen bed because that was all that was listed as available, but they gladly gave us a room with 2 beds at no extra charge. The decor was extremely ugly, however since we spent no time there except to sleep, and the price was right, we could look past that. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room, and the bathroom was clean, which was the most important thing. A blow-dryer would have been nice, but was not provided. We were worried that being on the ground floor next to the office would be noisy, but this was not the case. The grounds were very nice, well-kept, and seasonal flowers and plants made the place look more inviting. It needs a facelift, but overall, good deal for the money.

It was ok. Sink was plugged.

First of all the door would not latch, the lock didn't work eather.The phone was not connected , The room was dirty,and smeled bad.

We were 3 adults in town to go to Hollywood Slots Casino. PAY THE EXTRA 60.00 AND STAY AT THE CASINO! The minute I set foot in the casino I knew booking at Motel 6 was a mistake. After being on the road for 3 hours all I wanted to do was pee. So I lined the toilet seat with paper and sat there staring at the massive black glob of hair that resembled a hamster sitting in the tubs drain. So, after getting settled I found the vending machines. Hmmm...kit kat AND condoms in the same machine? How handy! I then dodged a couple toothless truckers that were eyeing them condoms AND me! The curtain didn't close all the way in any rooms so whoever walked by could see in all the rooms, the beds were filthy, hairs all over the "clean" sheets, the bachelorette party next door was so loud we had to crank the t.v. and put the remote inside a sock in order to use it because it was so dirty. We all woke up sore and stiff, the beds were so bad. If you have kids DO NOT STAY HERE. It was filthy and seedy. The good things though...it's right off the highway and you can walk to Dunkin Donuts, Tim Hortons, Subway and other stuff. Oh, and there are no street lights, entering the parking lot at night was difficult. 3 times I passed it and had to do a u turn. Next time I won't hestitate to pay extra for a nice room, no more being thrifty! Oh and we had 2 towels and no wash cloths for 3 adults. AND WHEN WE CAME IN AT MIDNIGHT FROM THE CASINO THE SHOWER WAS WET! IT WAS NOT LEAKY! AND IN THE A.M. WE HAD TO DUCK TO GET UNDER THE SHOWER HEAD AND WE ARE ALL UNDER 5'7" AND THERE WERE DRIED BOOGERS ALL OVER THE BATHROOM WALLS! AND NO FAN SO IF SOMEONE POOED THE WHOLE ROOM STUNK!

Cheap & Pets allowed. Housekeeping did a very good job with a very, very, very run down place. TV never worked right and was fixed twice, unsuccessfully. Window curtain kept falling off track even after fixed. Batteries removed from TV remote by maintance and new remote not left. They seem to be trying, but the fixers were never successful at fixing.

I enjoyed it. I had a long trip from MA to Northern Maine and it was a nice warm place to stay conveniently located near I95. Also had a microwave and fridge. Great deal for the price. Bed was very comfortable.

Every thing was great untill we woke up to the Jets from the airport took off at the we morning hours. Felt like they where using the hotel roof as a landing strip!
