A good place to wait for family to pick

While we were here we slept and got up in the morning to wait for family. We went to breakfast which was very good.

clean, nice pool

The hotel is nice, clean and has a great pool. Cllimate control was good and breakfast was fine. The "suite" with a fold out sofa was a bit awkward in that the sofa bed had to be manuvered around the AC unit.

Not Recommended

The rooms are very small and dated. We stayed in a single a queen and there was barely room to move. Fixtures fell off the wall and the room was.constantly humid due to how tiny it was. Although pet friendly there was really no good place to walk a dog. Cigarette butts and the smell overwhelmed all the entrances. This visit was to tour UMaine. One of the worst places I have ever stayed.

Clean, quiet, near 395 and the airport

The hotel is quiet, clean, and conveniently located to 395 and the airport. The rooms are small, but adequate. WiFi speed of 54mbps is too slow for most of my business work. I expected 100 mbps which I find in most hotels. The included breakfast buffet was skimpy. Three types of cold cereal, coffee, citrus juice, assorted breads, muffins, and pastries, and french toast. I ate elsewhere. Despite the hotel being sold out every night for a local series of high school sports tournaments the hotel was quiet. Of course, the breakfast buffet was hit by a locust of teenagers every morning, yet another reason I ate elsewhere. The convenience to 395 and the airport was a plus. I'd try the Ramada Inn next time.

Tom Horton's for breakfast. Just north of the Irving Gas Station on Odlin road. Great coffee, great oatmeal with fresh berries, great baked goods, cheery staff even early in the morning.

Clean, friendly staff, good location. A larger breakfast room would be nice, or maybe I should get up earlier.

Clean, but not worth staying

Apart from a clean room, this hotel had the most unfriendly staff I have experienced, particularly the receptionist was terrible. At our first night, we came into a room that had used sheets on one bed. After we complained, the staff offered us another room. This room was clean. However, the faucet leaked and when we took a shower there was a big puddle in the bathroom , because the pipes leaked. In addition, the hallways smelled like smoke, so did the elevator.

Great value

Desk clerk noticed a charge that didn't apply to us and took the charge off without prompting from us. We were only miles form the airport but didn't hear the planes taking off. The room was clean, warm, and the bed comfortable. Would recommend to any of my friends.
