A short but pleasant stay in Bangor
I really liked my stay at Days Inn Bangor. I only had two nights there, though. My room was spacious and very clean (definitely clean for the lodging of this class). It was quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Reception people were great and efficient. Breakfast was kind of poor, but I did not expect much anyway. There is a computer in the lobby where one could do a quick Internet check. Couple of eateries are around and the movie theatre is next door. The downtown is not far and I have even walked there and it only took me about 20 minutes. This hotel is very close to the airport and also to the Concord coach bus stop.

Nice for a night
They said the pool was an indoor heated pool, it was indeed indoor, but it was not heated. The 2 arcade games at the hotel, could use a major update. The DELUXE continental breakfast, was far from deluxe. When I hear deluxe, I think eggs, french toast, ham or bacon. There was just some bagels, toast, cereal. The rooms however, where very clean, and the staff were great. They were all very polite, friendly and very professional. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, if I spend another night in Bangor.

Cheap, clean but smelly and humid!
Staff was friendly and room seemed clean but smelled of mold and room felt very humid even after the window was left open for several hours.

Pretty decent for a night stop
Room a good size and clean. A bit noisy on the hallaway. Bed comfortable. Continental breakfast basic...Tim Horton's nearby if you need more. Ground Round across from hotel. Overall it's not bad for the price.

An average hotel
The hotel was "meh". -the location is in a good spot if your looking for a fun place in bangor, due to its right near restaurant, cheap seats, pool hall, mini golf, and highway for easy access and downtown bangor isn't too far. -pool was 3ft-4.5 and had a pee spell to it with horrible acoustics making it really hard to hear while in there. -continental breakfast is really small. it mainly had a juice and coffee machine with a bagel yogurt and your choice of either an apple or orange. -the room wasn't bad aside from the faint funky smell and the36"ish flat screen tv that for some reason only uses a small part of the tv and not the whole tv to show image (and there is no menu option to stretch image). -upon our departure it was raining and there is no place where you can pull you car up to and no get your stuff wet. if you are on a tight budget and looking for a place to come to at night and sleep. then this is not a bad place. however if you are looking for a place where you are going to be spending a little more time in and you can spend a little bit more, this is not the place for you. would I stay there again?.... probably not

Convenient stop-over
The rooms were nice and clean, especially the bathroom was really nice and tidy. Coffee maker in the room is always nice and the brand they had for coffee was a tasty one. The only minus was the 'deluxe' continental breakfast: it was very average, nothing hot (except for the oatmeal that was im those one-portion packages for yourself to make..) Staff could've been a bit more 'enthusiastic' about their job.

Bangor Days Inn
I think the Bangor Days Inn is OK. It is noisy from adjoining rooms with loud guests and the air planes arriving and departing overhead were loud but other than that it was a nice hotel.

The Restaurant next door to Bangor Days Inn is ok but I think the Bar and grill just next door South would have been better?

nice room but had an odor
The room was nice and appeared clean, but there was an offensive odor in the room...smelled a bit like cat urine. I don't think pets are allowed though. It was a great room for the price and we acclimated to the smell. It was otherwise very clean and much nicer than expected give the price we paid.
