The name of the Hotel is not the Hampton Inn, they have built a new one across the Highway. The name of the hotel is now the Comfort Inn. What a disater trying to check in at the Hampton only to find out the the reservation was at another hotel. Please verify your information before someone else goes through this same experience.

Comfort Inn
This is no longer known as the Hampton Hotel. It is the Comfort inn. We drove around till we found the new Hampton Inn and then had to go back cause they didn't have our reservation and had to go back to the Comfort Inn. The Hotel was still very nice and comfortable. Everything was clean and the Hotel room was very acceptable. I do recommend this Hotel. I just wish that I had known before hand that the name had changed instead of wasting my shopping time going from hotel to hotel.

Restful refuge
After spending our days visiting family, it was nice to go back to our room at the Hampton Inn. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order - TV, air conditioner. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and there were plenty of fresh towels daily. The breakfast buffet was great! Plenty of variety, something for everyone.

"Great location"
Couldn't ask for a better location for a shopping trip to Bangor. Close to mall, restaurants, overall a central location. Arrived close to 6:30 on a Saturday night to be told that there was complimentary chicken and dumplings in the breakfast area and that there would be homemade cookies and milk at the front desk at 7pm. What a welcome...a great experience. Complimentary breakfast was good, a bit busy but the line moved quickly...and the breakfast area is a bit small and warm, not air conditioned. Clean room, bathroom newly renovated. Only complaint would be the air conditioner didn't work at top performance.

Great value
As we have come to expect with Hampton Inns, the room was clean, beds were comfortable,linens and pillows were great. When traveling on the road, this overnight stay was a big plus in addition to the new spotless dining area with free breakfast. We arrived in the evening to the smell of fresh baked cookies and a friendly, courteous staff -- how wonderful is that!

Great place to get away from it all
We have stayed here many times and are never dissappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel doesn't have a pool so there are very few children around. There is a great well priced eatery next door. There is a huge shopping mall and big box stores very near and the interstate is less than a 1 minute drive. There is nothing that I would change about this hotel.

It was great for us & we'd stay there again!
The Hampton Inn Bangor was just great. Our room was large, The beds were comfortable. Having the sink in the room rather than in the bathroom is something we really like. The location was right for us as we were meeting friends in the area and it was easy for us to find. Being near the mall was nice. We went to a 99 restaurant to eat and that too was near and nice.

Great complimentary breakfasts! Nice hotel.
We have no negative comments about this hotel. It was well-kept, friendly, helpful staff, and wireless internet service. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
