One night stay

The amenities were fine, there was an outside pool and a whirlpool inside along with a fitness room. Not bad. Also, breakfast was included. The hotel was on the older side and could have used many upgrades. The room was clean enough, very tiny bathroom. Sky light was our only window! A bit different. But fine for all we needed. Let's just say that for what I paid for the night, I was a bit disappointed.

Bangor shopping

Shopping. Overall it was a good trip. The hotel was clean and the breakfast provided was super. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issues we had was the air conditioner / heater. We stayed on the third floor and it sounded like a 747 when it cut in. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything for the adjacent rooms. This may only be subject to the third floor as it looks like the remainder of the hotel, floors 1 and 2 where recently renovated. Next time we will request a room on the 1st or 2nd floors. Overall a nice stay.

Nice accomodations

The White House Inn was very comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Even though we were off of I-95 it was quiet at night and couldn't hear the traffic, had the AC on. They had a full breakfast every morning which was very good and breakfast area was clean and neat at all times.

Disappointed in Room

Allowed us to check in early, which was helpful. Staff at the front desk were courteous. The room was very small, could barely get around (we had a one queen room) and get our suitcases in and out. The hotel is located right off the interstate, which was helpful to get to the airport in a timely manner, but it was very noisy and we paid too much for this room!!

Great Stay

My daughter and I were having a weekend bonding trip and we both fell in love with the Best Western White House Inn. Our room was very quaint and we had the best rest. The deluxe continental breakfast was beyond our expectations. We will certainly be coming back o the White House Inn on our next visit to Bangor.

For On the Way to Bar Harbor

This hotel did what we needed it to do, which is put us close to Bar Harbor. It is a perfect and affordable stopping point if you are driving from Boston to Bar Harbor late and night and don't want to spend more to drive into Bar Harbor on your first night.
