Excellent Hotel - Fantastic stay
This was by far our best hotel stay ever. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. One night I woke up at 3am with a terrible headache. I went down to the front desk and asked where the nearest drug store was and the clerk gave me some advil right out of his own bottle. Not the type of service I've been accustomed to. Breakfasts were very good as were evening networking events. Maid service was prompt left the rooms clean. Room was big enough for a family of five with room to breathe. We were in town visiting family and taking short pleasure trips. Wish room had some points of interest or history of area in welcoming folder. As a foodie a short list of must try restaurants would have been awesome.

Very Nice!
The staff was awesome the room was spotless and the location great. It was next to the mall and a super walmart so anything we forgot NO problem. The pool and spa was very clean and the water was perfect. We traveld with our dog and the hotel gave us a first floor room to make it easy to get out for our dog to walk and do his business. [...] The hotel charges a one time $75 pet room cleaning fee [...]

Everything was great except HVAC noise
This is an excellent hotel--accomodations and ammenities provided for the money. Very clean and spacious rooms with apartment type features. BUT the position of the vent (near the beds) for heating the room and the noise from the heating vent is unacceptable. Recommendation to the hotel: reduce the decibels from the HVAC system or provide each guest with noise reduction ear muffs.

Great experience [...], the manager, was very acommidating and a class addition to a superb staff. The rooms were so well thought out that I would be hard pressed to offer any sort of criticism. Thanks, we will be returning Paul and Irene Cyr

Loved the fact that we could bring our own food to prepare in our own suite. Just a nice, clean, relaxing place to stay. A very pleasant place to stay.

New hotel,spacious rooms, very clean.
Stayed here while up for Parents' Weekend at son's college. Great location and comfortable for that purpose. Not much happening in the Auburn-Lewiston area of Maine.

Excellent Family-Friendly Hotel
A Starbuck's with a fireplace inside and a drive-thru is across the street. A few OK restaurants are also across the street - you can walk - a steakhouse, TGIF - Friday and a Ruby Tuesday, if you are too tired to find a better place. The Inn staff keeps a folder with suggestions, just ask. We ate at Gritty McDuff's in Auburn, 5 minutes from the hotel. It can be noisy but we ate on the porch overlooking the river. Food was good value for the price, with good service. The hotel beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed was good. This is our new favorite place to stay in Maine. Pool and hot tub are open til 111:00 PM and there is a nice exercise room.

Short drive from hotel
Gritty McDuff's, 68 Main Street. They have loud bands in the main room, so call first to see if the porch overlooking the river is available, or the main room if too cold or if there is no band. Parking is available on the street in front, both sides, but you need to go around the block to approach the restaurant. There is also a parking garage on the same block. Call Gritty's for good directions.
