Lovely downtown hotel
Room was great. Hotel was clean and attractively furnished. Figuring out how to park and check in was a challenge because you are RIGHT downtown. There is a first floor entrance on Fenton, but it is only an elevator to the thrid floor where the registration desks are. You can also go to the fifth level in the Wayne Street garage around the corner which connects with the hotel. The garage is free on the weekend!

Great Weekend!
The staff was excellent!! The lobby was a great place to meet up with friends and family. Also it's a great place to get some work done while the family is in the room resting or hanging out.

Good Hotel close to DC
This hotel is what most hotels should strive to be. The check-in process took minutes, free wired & wireless internet throughout the hotel, reasonable food and beverage prices in the lobby bar and the best part was the free shuttle bus to the metro and nearby restaurants.

Best Value!!
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It appeared to be brand new & modern. The room was clean and tidy. The ONLY problem is that the AC fan goes on and off all evening. I sleep with ear plugs, so it was not an issue for me. Shower was strong. No room service, though. Breakfast was available thru Starbucks until 11AM. You can buy sandwiches for later, since they don't serve lunch. Then they opened for dinner at 5PM. I was in town for a wedding. I asked for a room at the end of the hallway, away from the elevator and I got it. The area is very safe and a plentiful amount of restaurants were on a pedestrian street around the corner, along with shopping. The airport is about 35 minutes away (about a $30 fare, but ASK the cab driver before you get in. Two cabs wanted to charge me $40 - $50!! You can print your boarding pass on two special PCs with printers and there are two free Internet PC's available in the lobby. Wonderful hotel!

Good location. Clean and comfortable.
Visit to grandkids in Takoma Park. Hotel perfect for our needs but price has gone up and thus less atractive.

Great location, but pricey
This is a great hotel if you can afford the price. It is wonderfully located in the heart of Silver Spring and walking distance from the Metro. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and I love the room service.
