Convenient hotel with popular amenities and room selection

Comfortable Hotel
This was a pleasant stay, despite a problem with a mattress which they said they would report (so I hope they do to benefit the next guests). I did feel that the breakfast selection was not as good as in the past - no meat was offered on either of the two mornings we were there. However, the room was comfortable, the staff pleasant, and there was no exterior noise to disturb us.

The hotel was very busy as there were many events going on that weekend in the Salisbury area. The front desk check in was busy but efficient and I had no problems. The room itself was a smoking room, which was not my primary choice, but it was clean and although there was a slight smell it didn't cause me any issues. When we had a problem with a clogged toilet the maintance person responded quickly to fix the issue. Overall the experience was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.

Short drive from hotel
We went to the OLD MILL CRAB shack which was a short 4 mile drive into Delmar. The food was very good, crabs, crab legs, crab cakes and the corn was great! I would not recommend the fish or scallops as they had no taste. Our experience was fun and the staff was pleasant and quick!

NOY to previous Hampton standards
I pay above average rates for an above average experience. Not so this trip. This stay not to previous Hampton standards at the same hotel. Microwave dirty, TV remote filthy. Coffee maker missing brew basket...and more. When next in the area, I'll stay eslewhere.

Asked the staff twice for wake up calls.... Never received them. Bug was found in the sink in my room Hand print was found on the wall in the shower Food was not fresh Milk was sour No one at the fron desk when checking out

To Be Married in Sept '11
My stay @ the Hampton Inn Salisbury
We stayed here on the weekend of Aug. 13-15 with the final destination being Ocean City, Md but with the room prices there going for upward of $400+ a night, I determined it was better stay here since it was much less expensive and only a half hour drive away. With that being said, we weren't at the hotel much outside of leaving in the morning for the beach & returning in the evening to rest. Our room was on the 4th floor which was in the final stages of being renovated so the hall floor wasn't carpeted during our time here....the room itself was very clean & the hotel staff all seemed very friendly. The breakfast area is small so it tends to be very crowded given the hotel's capacity for guests & there is only one waffler maker so there could be a line there waiting to use it while other's are trying to get different items in a somewhat confined space but hey, it's free! Overall, the hotel served my needs perfectly & it is in a great location within minutes of the highway to 13 & 50 and has alot of popular stores & restaurants within minutes from there!

Not-early-bird
Nice place, but thin walls
The staff was great; the room also very nice. Good size bathroom. Appreciated the breakfast too. But the neighboring guests were not letting anybody sleep past 6:15am.

clean and friendly
the room was very clean and the hotel was quiet. Staff was very friendly. i really enjoyed staying there and would again in a second.
