Sheraton Rockville Hotel

We needed a local hotel for the evening, and didn't have to sacrifice quality to save some money. The room was very affordable and very nice. Quiet hotel, small, but nice bar, staff was friendly.

My daughter ( age 48) and I were there for the US Open at Congressional. We absolutely loved the beds and pillows. We were disappointed that there was not a small refrigerator in the room. We were located on the ground floor next to the exercise room and pool which we didn't have an opportunity to use. Overall I would recommend the Sheraton Rockville.

We arrived early and our room was ready! That was great as we wanted to spend as much time in Washington as we could. The hotel is only about 35 minutes from Washington's Union Station on the subway. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was especially nice after walking around Washington. The temperature was about 104 degrees - sometimes a hard ammenity to get in a public venue.

Needed a hotel for the night while visiting family. The staff was very friendly, the room was large and clean, and most importantly, quiet. Would definitely stay there again on the next trip.

This is our third stay at the Sheraton Rockville. Our initial reason for choosing this hotel was the location. It is within walking distance of our relatives. We keep coming back because of the hotel's amenities, cleanliness, comfort and service. The hotel is relatively new, with extremely comfortable beds, large bathroom, and modern decor. It is also very quiet with a nice restaurant/bar in the lobby.

I was surprised and pleased with the quality of customer service at the Sheraton Rockville Hotel! The personal attention and consideration at the front desk when I was checking in was something I would have expected at a five-star facility. The attendants went out of their way to see that my needs were met. I got the sense the management takes pride in the facility. They have communicated that to the staff. I am in the area often, and because of this unusually positive experience I will be using the accommodations again and again.

The hotel was beautiful but not untouchable. We had our ten year old grandson with us. He enjoyed the indoor pool. The staff was friendly and available.

Everything was very nice at the hotel. The only issue was that there was no one to handle room service. Food was available, but had to be picked up in the bar. Staffing issue!

I like the location and the hotel. However, for Sheraton type hotel, I was hoping I did not have any issue with customer service or service in general. I was wrong. Our room did not get service, the housekeeping did not clean/make up the room. We got back to the room at 10 PM, and called the front desk and we got fresh towel and fresh linen, but who wants to change linens at 10 PM, especially when we already paid for the hotel room which should include housekeeping! We mentioned the issue we had the next morning when we checked out, but we got nothing. Not sure if it is typical Sheraton. I have stayed in other chains, and never had this issue before. Very dissapointed with Sheraton services.

We found Sheraton Rockville perfect for our stay in Washington although it is a little out of the city, the Shady Grove Metro is within walking distance and the hotel has a courtesy shuttle bus if you dont fancy the walk! We had wonderful evenings at the bar being entertained by the extremely friendly bar staff and the reception staff were so helpful too. Loved the Starbucks coffee in the room and the extremely comfy sheraton signature bed. Great rooms. Would definitely go back there.
