nice place
I have been staying few nights a month to be closer to my job and everyone is very nice. Do wish at least one of the front windows opened a little. And I could of used a hair dryer. And a few more channels on the tv (A&E). Otherwise the room is always clean, the refrilgerator is on and cold and fairly quiet during the day when I am sleeping-I work night shift.

close to job
refrigeratior is on and cold, room is clean, staff is kind, could have more channels on tv, close to job so I stay when I have to work several nights in a row as if I drive from home takes me nearly 2 hours. so far rates have been fair.

great rates
my stay here was all I expected. room was quiet-I work nights, slept during the day, and was clean. will probably stay again as long as the rates do not increase

receptionist was extremely nice and welcomed me back. gave me a room that I was perfect for my stay. had been recently renovated and was clean. will stay again

Good value for money
I've stayed at this Red Roof Inn on a handful of occasions. The price is usually one of the lowest in the area. The rooms are comfortable, with fairly new and very comfortable furnishings, though the state of repair is not always great-- a broken arm on a desk chair here, a hole in the bathroom wall there, etc. This isn't a luxury hotel by an stretch of the imagination, but if you want to spend less than $100 a night on a decent room then this will give you great value for the money.

Rocville Trip
The on-line reservation did not come to the hotel as the expected. I have to hold the phone for at least 35 minutes to make the confirmation of the reservation.

Not so much public transportation
Most hotels outside of towns need car to access to them. Not so much good for visitors without cars because there are not so much public transportations. I spend a lot of time to wait for buses and trains.

What did I expect for $68.00?
I traveled for a funeral. The grounds and parking lot were very poorly lit, made worse by the shrubbery and distance from the lot to the staircase. Individuals were sitting and standing around and roaming the grounds between the parking lot and the hotel. The room lighting was also dim and uninviting and did not smell clean: I spent less than two minutes in the room and returned to the lobby to retrieve my money. The attendant told me that they couldn't give me a refund because I "purchased the reservation online." So, in addition to a review, my remarks here include a request for a refund! Being a native of DC, I remember when the Rockville and Gaithersburg areas were "upper middle class." This hotel wasn't. But then, did I really expect a well-lit, clean, quiet room with a decent TV working air conditioner for $68???
