convenient and reasonable rates
This hotel was dated and had only one dining toom that was not especially good. There was no internet service in the rooms. However, the rooms were under renovation and should be very nice upon completion. My room was not yet remodeled. There was a good mix of dining options within walking distance.

The Metro is only about 1 block away and a good means of travel into Wasington DC. Also, check out the restaurants in the adjacent shopping areas.

Nice Value
The hotel decor (even in the midst of renovating) was nice. The staff was average, long wait to check in, room keys didn't work, room was very nice and relaxing! Doors and walls VERY thin. AC unit is very loud...but for the price I paid, those issues were minimal. Enjoyed my stay!

Average Hotel within walking distance of the Washington METRO Red Line
The Ramada Rockville is an average hotel with two particular things to recommend it ... the hotel is one block's walking distance from the Washington METRO Red Line, which makes it easy to get to and from the District. The staff was not all that competent, but friendly. The dining options were limited to one in-house restaurant, but there were two small shopping areas with a choice of restaurants within walking distance.

My review of Ramada Rockville
The room was clean. However, the air conditioner does not seem to remove enough hmidity. Therefore, the room was cool but the sheets felt a slightly damp.

Convenient moderate price
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quite clean although not too spacious. There is nice shopping in the area less then a five minute drive. Close to Washington which was my destination.

be warned: do not, under any circumstances, have breakfast at "phillip's" in the hotel if time is an issue for you. we waited 20 minutes for coffee, and we told the waiter that we were in a hurry to get on the road when we ordered. it took at least another 30 minutes to be served muffins, oatmeal, and fruit salad.

Excellent Hotel
The most friendly, helpful staff you could want. The room with 2 double beds, although not overly spacious, was of satisfactory size. It was clean, fresh, and well appointed and included many bed and throw pillows. Two nearby shopping centers featured small eateries, shoppes, and a food store. Ate breakfast special in hotel's restaurant. Nearby restaurants included IHOP and TGI Fridays to name a few. Free parking in multi-level garage not attahced to hotel. Easy access to I-270.

very satisfied
great hotel for the price and VERY CLEAN. has a fridge, wifi, and 32 inch flat screen TV however the NEGATIVES: the TV picture wasn't very clear Parking is in a garage(next door) BUT in the 5-6 level $10/day for a microwave (we needed it for our baby's milk) but overall, we would stay there again ^_^

THE ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE!!! just 2 lights south of the hotel... AWESOME FOOD (strawberry waffles, TRY IT!)
