The price was entirely too expensive compared to others in the area. The experience was average.

We checked in late at night and around 1am we found that ALL of the bedding was filthy and dingy the one had what looked like little tiny blood drops or something. Very, Very tired after our long drive I looked at maybe the couch...Also very dingy and stained up, I just through one of my own blankets over the bed and figured the next day I would leave a note for the maid...she gave us all new stuff. The second night around 11:30 the fire alarm proceeded to go off and scare everyone up out of bed (poor kid next door to us almost had a heart attack) so we all go out side in the rain while we wait for the situation to be cleared. Then going back up to our room our keys didn't work so we had to go back downstairs across the parking lot in the rain again and we told the lady she made us new keys we went back across the parking lot and up to the 5th floor to find that again they were not working. She finally came over herself and let us in. I thought she had made us a new key nope that one was hers and we were on lockdown basically for the rest of the night unless we left the room one at a time or we were to go through it all over again. So there went our plans about going out to Seacrets for a while. The next morning we get up and my husband goes to speak to a manager and he too reloaded the keys and my husband came back up to the room, where they again did not work. So we packed our things, loaded the car and went to check out. I asked to speak to the manager and he proceeded to be rude to me telling me well how do you think we feel when we have to go up and clean the locks and how that lock is always a problem. Acting as if it is my fault that he works at that hotel (my choice). Also telling me if there was a problem with the sheets then we should have called that night exhausted or not & I am sorry I was not going to wait for someone to puff their way up and elevator or for me to have to go down and then make my own bed I figured I would just fix the situation by using my own blanket instead of complaining but tell them at check out just like any hotel. The guy was rude and did not handle the situation. I did not ask for a discount I just wanted him to be kind but he said well next time you come here I will give you a discount. Dear sir, there will NEVER be a next time your place was filthy!!!! Literally the only good thing about the stay was the amazing view!!! Oh & PS don't expect a typical hotel breakfast (everyone was mad about that) it was a bagel in a bag, a tiny danish in a bag or instant oatmeal. It was very disappointing to many people. Even the indoor pool was very nasty and dirty and look very unsanitary to go into.

The room was less than expected...the size...but, the view of the ocean... although it was not the building directly on the ocean view...was acceptable. The staff was pleasant...and after spending a night in Chincoteague, VA, it was great to be with guests who interacted.

great location and was fine for a business trip getaway. Didn't move my car while at the beach. Beds were great as far as comfort. Would probably stay at the ocean front building next time I visit OC. Staff friendly. ,

for the price hotel was very low priced for the location, service was excellent, 24hour coffee, and decent breakfast

Its a long ways from the boardwalk. The hotel is on 30th and the boardwalk is all the way down in the teens. The beach in front of the hotel is usually empty and pretty amazing! There isn't much food around but if you travel to the boardwalk its great. The elevator in the motel is very sketchy. Continental breakfast is decent. Hotel room was clean and everything worked and was comfortable. Its probably worth it to pay more and get closer to the boardwalk.

Close to the boardwalk and relatively cheap. Room was small and a bit dirty, but service was timely and nothing awful stood out. Can't expect five star quality for a one star price. Room was worth the money.

Picked this hotel since it was one of the cheaper ones in the area. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything too grand however I was pleasantly surprised by this place. There is an ocean side and ocean front hotel. For this price, you'll be getting the ocean side which isn't too bad. The beach is less than a minute walk away and there are plenty of places to eat around here. Plus it's across the street from the Jolly Roger amusement park. Pools here are ok. The indoor pool is nicer than the outdoor. If you're looking for a cheap place to hang out while in OC, this is a pretty decent place for the price. Rooms were real clean and well maintained.

A pretty good location for this hotel & not a bad price. I requested a non-smoking room & the room was obviously not that because it smelled like smoke. The Wi-Fi connection really sucked & kept disconnecting me & there was no wired connection sites. Very accomodating staff however & 2 great pools at this location. (They couldn't switch me out of my room though)
