Quality Inn Oceanfront

The best part was the birds in the atrium. We went down one morning for breakfast when the bird said hello to my daughter, she turned and was very excited to see it out of the cage and had a little conversation with her.

The hotel is older and in serious need of upgrading, but if you can accept that and realize it's OC,MD then you will appreciate its little charms. Location is great, beach is not very crowded, and the staff is great. There's always fresh fruit by the front desk, and the atrium area was great for my 2yo. Birds, turtles, fish and a clown from 3-5 made it easy to keep him busy between beach/boardwalk trips.

The hotel was filled with friendly staff, and the location is perfect! Walking distance to favorite local bars. The pools were clean and refreshing and the rooms were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

I was a little leary about staying at the hotel after reading the other reviews. Our stay was wonderful. The room was clean, staff friendly, wonderful location. Beach access was very important when choosing our hotel and this one didn't dissapoint. So easy and the beach was clean. I would highly reccomend this hotel.

I've had an ocean front 2 beds with kitchen . Room was not bad , bed was comfortable. Kitchen was kind of small we had to eat in the sitting are by the patio door. Which was better so we can enjoy the view while we eating. The bathroom was okay not so clean but not that dirty. Our kids like the birds and the fish pond in side the building and the swimming pool was nice. At the end of the trip, I can say it worth the money that I've paid for.

The hotel looked great from reviews, so after many choices I picked this hotel. Big mistake! The hotel was very outdated, except for the lobby/pool area that was nice. Once in my room, it was very humid/damp feeling, and it just smelled moldy. The bathroom tile had mold, and brown stains, the sprinkler system in case of a fire was rusted and hanging out of the wall, the tub had brown stains. The first thing I checked for in the bed was bugs, because as dirty as it was, I figured it would be nasty. Surprisingly no bugs, just a foul odor throughout the room. The view was very nice of the ocean, but the rate of this hotel should of been 60 dollars, not 120. If I paid 60, I would expect "cheap motel accommodations" but for 120 I expect a lot more. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to wake up with a sore throat, and you want all of your items (luggage/clothes) to smell like mildew when you leave.

Great hotels for guests with families. incredible atrium with pool, parrots & tiki bar. Can be loud at times but ocean front room with kitchenette made for a great family get away.

Very clean and spacious room....picture showed room divider in advertisement which would have been key with the small children at bedtime but didnt exist. otherwise a very nice establishment.

It was a very family friendly hotel - with an outdoor play area, life size turtle statues and a pond with a bridge. There is even a super cool Parrot Cove on the second floor where you can feed and pet six live Parrots.

Pros: Room had kitchenette which was nice and also had a separate sitting area with a curtain for a little privacy so kids could go to sleep while parents watched TV. The had complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate available at all times. They also had fresh fruit at front desk. We had an inside room with an oceanfront view so we had easy access to the pool which was located in the atrium. They had birds and a pond with fish with a little bridge in the atrium which was beautiful. We had breakfast in the Atrium and it was pretty good. Staff very friendly. Cons: We took cold showers 2 days in a row. The first day the front desk told us they had a boiler problem and were very apologetic, the second day the front desk (different clerk) said they fixed the problem and was VERY rude about it. We actually left later that day...without a refund for the remainder of our stay. (it was worth going home to a hot shower) We probably wouldnt stay here again even though the only problem we had was with the showers.
