Short stay, exceeded expectations
Stayed for Hot rod cruisin weekend. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Per our request, they switched our room so we could view the street. Everything was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was a joke and overpriced. Didnt expect a lot but was very satisfied.

Labor Day Trip
The hotel is within walking distance of Seacret's which is the most well known and most frequented spot in Ocean City (other than the beach). Also due to this Princess Bayside has security guards for their parking lots which is definite plus. Cross Coastal Highway and walk a block and you're at the beach. Would not mind staying here in the future.

Good for the Weekend
My boyfriend and I went away for Labor Day weekend. Being in our twenties, the hotel was an ideal spot in respect to proximity to bars such as Seacrets and Macky's; however, the nights we chose to not go bar-hopping and just have dinner we had trouble with the outside noise from people entering and leaving Seacrets. Not to mention, there is a bar located in the hotel that can get noisy. Minus the noise, the room was of average quality and was clean. Would recommend for a long weekend; would not recommend for families with small children.

Very relaxing vacation!
Lots to do in the area. Motel is beautiful. One can go out to the beach & boardwalk, or just stay at the motel. There is plenty to do there. Very relaxing! Would definatly go back !

Great beach location
The wife and I needed a day of fun n relaxation Princess bayside is a nice hotel located one block From seacrets where we spent the whole day eating n drinking On a raft in the water! Truly a great place with fun for anyone! 17 bars in the sand! It felt like a true tropical escape!

"Great Location... Right beside Secrets!
Had a lot of fun, nice view of Bay Side, liked being right across the street from the beach (ocean side) and having a private beach (bay side) boardwalk was a bit of a walk, but was able to catch the bus right outside of our hotel!

Good for the price
The hotel was clean our only problem was the water in the shower would switch from hot to cold, but only when you showered at night. Showering in the morning the water would stay hot. The location was great and we didn't have any other complaints! I would recommend this hotel if your looking for an inexpensive place to sleep.

We booked the princess bayside for our 2 night stay in ocean city. We were highly disappointed with this hotel and was nothing like what we expected. Our first night in the hotel was a disaster there was something dried onto the carpet that we hoped was pizza and not vomit..There was also dirty plastic cups hid under the bed and sand in the sheets. That evening everyone was showering off before going to dinner when our friend got out of the shower to an inch of water soaking the bathroom and also running out into the room. The matience department was called up to the room and there was an issue with a bracket in the shower...there response was that they would send the maids up to clean up the water and ensured us the shower would be fixed later..With only one person half showered this was not an option since we were all covered with sand and suntan lotion. After calling down to the front desk they reluctently agreed to switch us to another room. The second night we stayed there was just as bad as the first. We were sitting out on the balcony around 9:30 at night enjoying the bayview but when we tried to go back inside the room we realized that the sliding glass door had locked behind us on the way out and we were stuck on the balcony with no cell phones. We had to yell down to anyone who walked by and had them go into the hotel to tell them. 20 minutes later the security director came to let us out and said that this has happened quite a few times..this may have been an attempt at humor but its not funny to have hotel guests locked out on the balcony. We were very thankful someone walked by outside otherwise who knew how long we would have been stuck up there. After complaining about our ruined stay and numerous safety hazards the front desk said there was nothing they could do to make up for our misfortune on the trip. We will NEVER return to this hotel again.
