Moderately priced hotel on the Ocean City boardwalk
Plim Plaza Hotel is located right on the Ocean City boardwalk and offers a spectacular view of the ocean. A broad selection of restaurants, amusements, shops, and nightlife are all a short walk away. Appealing features include an Olympic-size swimming pool and a large sundeck with three Jacuzzis. Caribbean Pool Bar and Grille offers satisfying casual dining and daily live entertainment in season. Rooms are small, had ants in the bathroom. But location is great, right on the beach.

Stay Away!!
I have been staying here for years....took a few years off to stay in condos with big family and went back this year. this place needs to be torn down and completely renovated. Room was gross....carpeting dirty and smelly, room moldy smelling, wallpaper falling off, mold everywhere on walls, shower- alternately freezes and scalds you- has been doing this for 40 years....seriously....they can't find an HVAC company to fix this? The hallway is just as horrible, carpeting coming up, dirty. It is right on the boardwalk and perfect location, but the hotel is gross. Staff couldn't care less about you or the horrible rooms. I am having trouble understanding that anyone is saying this is a great place- there are a very few rooms that have been updated- but most of this place is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

Great Ocean City Getaway
The hotel is pretty nice for the price. The rooms are small and a bit outdated but your mostly going to enjoy the amazing location and their exclusive pool car. Def worth it!

Perfect Location
Average hotel with a perfect location. Rooms were small but adequate but there was a slight odor...maybe musty. Location couldn't be better though! Walk right out on the boardwalk and then onto the beach. My husband went deep sea fishing on the Ocean Princess -- great value trip -- while we enjoyed ourselves on the beach! Good time at Ocean City. Kudos to Ocean City for not charging you to use their beaches!!!

Great experience!
The hotel is in a perfect location on the boardwalk. The pool area is beautiful and easily accessible. The staff was helpful and friendly. There were a few things that we did not care for at the hotel. The room was small and musty smelling, there were no ironing boards or irons available, our telephone did not work (we were told that it was the wiring not the phone - therefore nothing could be done),and the bedding was minimal (no blanket, just a sheet and bedspread). None of the issues we encountered were dealbreakers, in fact we had a wonderful time in Ocean City, and would stay at this hotel again.

If you like to dance, try Seacrets nightclub. We had a fabulous time. Dancing on the beach to either live bands or several different DJ's. Food was good, not overly expensive, and atmosphere was very unique.

Mixed Experience
Pros- Location could not be better (right on the boardwalk)- Has a decent pool bar and jacuzziCons- Inhospitable staff: 1. Since I booked my stay via[...] they kept on saying that I need to go back to the website when I requested a poolside or oceanside room (which was not an option online) change. When I pressed further they said that nothing was available (which seemed untrue given that we were there on Thur-Fri). All this happened 3 weeks before our planned stay over the phone. Even during checkout when I requested a recipt they did not give it to me and said go to [...]. Felt like you are a second class citizen at this hotel if you book online.2. Never a smile or inviting greeting when I went to the desk for check in (my local DMV staff felt better in comparison)- No breakfast. Even the smallest motel today offers free breakfast. Plim Plaza calls itself a resort hotel so atleast expected a breakfast (free or paid for neither was available).- Small room with a musky carpet.All this for $150 per night on Thur-Fri seemed not a good value for money. The only saving grace was that location was good and we were able to spend our time mostly outside.

Go to a 50 minute boat ride called Sea Rocket. For $15 per person was the best recreation I had on the sea at Ocean City.

not bad hotel
they didnt give me clear enough dierection on where the over flow parking lots were located.spent half hour then had to ask for help.

Needs a full renovation
The hotel is in a great location, on the beach and boardwalk, it has a great pool. Nice restaurants and bar. Free wifi in the lobby. Nice terrace with rocking chairs to sit and watch the beach and boardwalk. The common areas of the hotel were very good. Don't get fooled by the outside of the hotel and the lobby. Once u get to the hallway it's a different world. The hallways smell like mold, the room is falling apart. The carpet always felt wet. The water pressure in the shower was terrible...even the temperature was not steady one second it would be freezing next second it would burn you. The walls are very thin u would hear eveything that ur neighbors would do. Wallpaper falling apart stains in the mirror the handles would come off when you used the faucets. The rooms are in desperate need for a full renovation it looks worn down and depressing. I would not recommend this to people with family. It's ok for young couples or singles who are just looking for a place to sleep. I would come back if they renovated the rooms.

Do not miss out on Paul reveres resturant located in the hotel. It's an all u can eat buffet with a large selection on food. Very good and very cheap
