Inexpensive but not very cozy
The staff at Knights Inn OC was very accomodating. We were the first guests of the season so the room had a musty smell. The towels were a bit dingy and there wasn't any carpet on the floor. No carpet made the room very cold, and when we showered and since it rained, the floor was slippery when wet. This place is perfect for partying kids who just want a place to put their heads, but for adults wanting a weekend away in a warm and inviting place, I wouldn't recommend it.

Clean
Hotel was clean and close to the beach-one block. Even though it was older it was well maintained. Only complaint is we got there early and would have liked to check in one hour early and could not. We could see that there were rooms ready to go but we were told none were ready.

Terrible Hotel
The room was stark, the floor had tile which was old and cold, The Window AC unit did not have a filter that fit. It had one stuck inside that was the wrong size, The shower had mildew. The bed was worn out and uncomfortable. The refrigerator wobbled badly because one leg was too short, the Microwave was half covered in RUST. The manager mentioned they have been sold out. Maybe they should put some money into some renovations.

On highway 611 there is a small diner called the diner 611 that had an excellant breakfast.

Big Guy
Great stay for the price
very clean had a few maintance issues but was very quiet and just 1 block from boardwalk and beach. will stay again and recomend to friends.
