The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located on 126th street in North Ocean City. The hotel has 122 rooms with 66 suites, some of which have whirlpool tubs. We are only a block and a half from the beautiful beaches that Ocean City has to offer. We are also conveniently located in front of Northside Park Sports Complex that host®s lacrosse, soccer, basketball and softball tournaments. The hotel is just a short drive away from the world famous Boardwalk as well as some of the finest restaurants in Ocean City. Everyone that worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants in the same parking lot which ... made it nice to go out drinking on Friday night and not have to worry about taking the bus home or getting a DUI. The pool was relaxing as was the hot tub that sat immediately next to the pool. Overall my friends and I really enjoyed our stay!

I chose this hotel for its price and previous good reviews and wasn't disappointed. Room was clean and the breakfast was ... unusually good for a "continental". Only negative was the bath tub drain was clogged and although reported, was not remedied before we left.

Great OC location -- bayside next to Northside Park. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was accomodating. Ressie was ... mixed-up. Originally put in a smoking room when we asked for non-smoking. Change was made quickly. The only issue was the breakfast bar. There were plenty of choices, but there wasn't enough room to accommodate everyone. We were there around 7:45, just before the rush. By the time we left, around 20 minutes later, the wait was out the door. Even though we had a seat, we couldn't go back up. And with kids in tow, that could be a problem for a parent who has to make several trips.

We were visiting OC for a trip to the beach. It is away from the boardwalk which I preferred. There was a very busy street ... to cross to get to the beach. I loved the nice park behind the hotel for the walking track and sound views. The hotel pool was very nice. The rooms were clean and pretty good size. The staff was fairly friendly. The breakfast was ok...but not enough seating and a way too long of a wait if you did not get up at the crack of dawn.

Hotel was nice. Clean rooms, helpful front desk people. The continental breakfast was way too small for the volume of guests. ... We waited 15 minutes in line and meny items were empty by then. Next morning we bought a box of cereal just so we wouldn't ahve to battle the line again.

Overall the hotel was nice and we enjoyed our stay there. It was a short walk to the beach and there were many restaurants ... and stores nearby. We liked the location because it wasn't as crowded as areas closer to the boardwalk. The kids enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools. The complimentary breakfast was really good and was a great plus that other hotels don't have!

We stayed here on our way down to the Outerbanks and on the way back. I really liked the Holiday Inn Express. The staff was ... always available and friendly. The breakfast was great. The kids loved the outdoor pool. Indoor pool was small but nice and warm. I, however, was not a fan of Ocean City. I felt it was dirty and unsafe. Holiday Inn Express was a safehaven!

Great stay for family with two toddlers

This was the perfect getaway for us. Our kids (ages 1 and 2) had a great time. The included breakfast was better than ... expected, and was a nice treat in the morning. The beach was just a block away, and there were plenty of nearby kid-friendly places to eat including a local ice cream parlor and a wonderful crab shack with all you can eat fresh seafood. The price was right, the location convenient, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Note for families with young kids: We had a room near the front entrance, and it was perfect for getting in and out of the hotel easily with all our stuff.

Paying for food in the area adds up quickly, so the included breakfast was a great plus. Be sure to wake up early for breakfast so you can avoid the rush.

SAVE MONEY! DON'T USE ORBITZ!

Hotel was ok. SAVE MONEY, DON'T USE ORBITZ! You can book the room by phone or in person for 25-30% less. I paid $171.00 per ... night through ORBITZ and they hotel was offering the same room for $151.00 per night to another walk in customer while I was checking in! I asked for the same rate and the desk person said that they could not change the rate because ORBITZ is pre-paid. I was also informed by hotel staff that I could have saved an additional 15-20% by showing AARP or AAA card! I do not intend to use ORBITZ again. I wonder if their high prices apply to all services they offer?

What I liked most was that the hotel was quiet because it was away from the road and noise. It was a very short walk to the ... beach (right across the street). I searched other hotels that were right on the beach/boardwalk and they were more expensive but the same quality. When we walked into the room for the first time it kind of had an odor. On the other side of the hotel was a bay with a pier that was nice to walk out on. The continental breakfast was nice. I didn't go to the hotel pool but I could see it from my room and it seemed nice. I was surprised that the hotel didnt have a workout room. This hotel is in a good location for the beach, but if you want to go to the boardwalk you will need to drive or ride the bus which costs $2 to ride all day. We ate a The Olive Tree which is an Italian restaurant right behind the hotel. It was good. We also ate at Phillips buffet. It was nice to try all the different seafood but it is kind of expensive at $30 a person. However, all the other crab places are $20 for all you can eat crabs but they don't offer all the other things that Phillips has. I also ate at Bull on the Beach, and it was good too. I would recommend the crab cakes or rock fish. Their tea was bad though. I went to Seacrets one night and it was really fun. It would be fun to go in the daytime and be at the swim up bar with friends.

The pizza at the Dough Roller was to die for. The crabs at Higgins Crab House were great but a bit pricey at 30 dollars per person. Embers had a great and I mean great buffet for only 20 bucks per person and I would highly recommend it!

There were two restaurants which shared the same parking lot as the hotel. One was a steak and seafood place and the other was an Italian restaurant. We eat at the Italian restaurant and the food was delicious!!
