Attractive inn steps from the beach in Ocean City

My Twenty-First Birthday
The staff was wonderful and extremely friendly. The location of this hotel is very good, not right on the beach, but an extremely short walk from it. Plently of stores, restaurants, and things to do surrounding the hotel. Such as the Bar and Grill directly in front of the hotel. Or if you'd rather spend some quiet time in your hotel room, that was easily done as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ocean City, wanting to be close to the beach for a very reasonable price.

Good stay
We went to the beach. The location worked for this. The check is time is late though and the rooms were not ready until a little after 4pm

Great Stay!!
Great hotel. 1 block from beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Drive to boardwalk, but okay; no kids from senior week; Yeah! Family oriented. Great park, nice pier out to bay, could skateboard,ride bikes,run,etc..Nice clean,comfy beds, no bed bugs!!!! Great breakfast, and free!!!!And staff kept restocking food quickly. Would definitely stay again.[...]no hassel checking out. Friendly staff. Ate at both Embers and Bonfire. Bonfire was superior, food was much better, desserts were individual at Bonfire instead of in big pans at Embers; for the same price 24.95 Adult 13.95 child would definitely choose Bonfire. Doughroller great for pizza. We arrive at 1:30 and we were able to check in early!!

Perfect for our needs
Above average. The staff was attentive and courteous. As locals their dining suggestions were helpful. Breakfast was convenient and one could find healthy things to eat if you didn't aim for the main entrees. Although the room was a bit small for 4, we were in and out and gone most of the day so it served our purposes fine; a clean, quiet place to lay our heads, clean up and start out our days with full tummies.

Althoug we never got there, we were told that Ocean side pizza, long time Mom and Pop place was a favorite if you weren't into chains, nothing fancy but supposedly very good. Can eat in or carry out.

great price & location
Great for business travelers or a quick night out of town. room was clean & hotel is situated in a convenient location. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express and will stay at this location again when visiting Ocean City, MD.

Great Value
We stayed during a super busy weekend. A national cheerleading competition! The staff never seemed bothered or harried when we called to get phone messages from teamates. Always greeeted us with a smile and asked how each and every girl did. Breakfast bar added to the great value. One day it was bacon and eggs the next day was bisquits and gravy. No need to go out.

Short walk from hotel
Went to the Olive Tree (Italian) on Sat night. Spent almost a hundred dollars for two adult meals and a kids meal. No wonder there was no wait. The food was good, BUT not that good. Save your money.

Great Hotel and good value
Overall a good experience. I would definitely rent a room there again without delay. The breakfast was great and a true value. If I would have gone out to eat I would easily have spent $30.00.
