Good Stay
Overall this was a pretty nice hotel stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was kind of inconvenient, being at the very north point of the city. All the main attractions were about 10 or 15 minutes down the highway. Also, the pool was very small, but it was heated, which was nice. I think it was a good value for the price that we paid, which was very reasonable.

Make sure there isnt an event going on at the Inlet Parking lot before you go. There was a car show there when we went, and since the Inlet lot is the main parking lot it was really hard to find a good parking space.

friendly service
check in and out was smooth and easy with friendly service. Rooms where clean and comfortable. There was a nice cafe in the hotel where we only ate breakfast but the food was very good with a decent selection and the service was nice and very welcoming.

Perfect for our purposes
Needed an easy place to stay that was convenient. Hotel was nice and clean. Beds were fine. If you're looking to go cheap but not be disappointed with your stay, this is the place. I'll stay here again when we're in the area.

Secret lover
good for long stays
Overall it was decent. Wasn't anything spectacular but for the price it was definatly worth it. The one thing that disappointed me is i booked a room on a upper floor with a balcony and i ended up with a patio by the pool. So kids running up and beating on my door for fun was not... fun.

I couldn't find any real nightlife nearby. So if your looking to party this is not the place for you.

Great Price Off Season
The EconoLodge OceanBlock was very nice for a very nice price. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was very clean. There is an awesome place to eat right across the driveway,Nick's Famous Ribs, off season they open after 4. My suggestion try the TKO Punch. Locations is great, right across from a movie theatre. One block up is Fenwick Island Delaware. Pool is heated even off season.

My review of Econo Lodge Oceanblock
Don't go unless it's during the summer season. The hotel restaurant was closed. There is no lobby. Finding a convenient place for meals was required effort. We only wanted to rest!

Great Value
The Eco Lodge was right on the DE MD border. So we missed it the first time by. We had a partial ocean view and could smell the ocean. The kitchenette was a big money saver on this trip also. We could walk to the beach and to a steak house right next door. The room was very clean.

A good revisit.
After being in this hotel several times we have always found it about the same, very nicely kept. The pool area is very, very nice. It is close to the beach and many restaurants. It is in a quiet area of town. We have not been there for many years and went back to find it was still as nice, if not nicer than previously. We had not been there since it is an Econo Lodge. The only thing I could find fault with was their wireless internet was hard to connect with.
