Carousel Resort Stay
It was a cute hotel targeted more for the younger croud. They have a cool indoor ice skating rink and a decent size indoor pool. The hotel its self has a fun carnaval feel.

Fun for three year olds
The hotel had a real ice skating rink! My 3 year old loved all the activities! Pretty beach. Nice pool. The over seas help was not great. I got attitude from the pool girl who had trouble with her English. Anyway--the pools are wonderful, they have pirate ship playgrounds and bouncing equipment in the back. We watched a movie on the beach (Monsters vs Aliens) The hotel had a big movie screen and gave out glow necklaces for children. It was a big hit with the little ones. They could use a little more help with serving food in the lobby. Good luck!

Clean hotel, very removed from board walk but that adds to the location in other ways. Staff all seemed new to the area so unable to recommend restaurants and places to go; services close too early in the night without a place to go after 11; need a place for a late breakfast - it is a vacation place; would be more resort like if they offered drink service on the beach. Wi-fi was weak; Bowling and Movies close by; Its an ok place, good room price for the location.

this is a great place
mostly we came for the beach last trip of the year and because we were aware the weather might not be great we chose a place with an indoor pool and other things the kids would like. unfortunately the ice rink was closed as well as the outdoor pool which we could have done on the first day of our trip. the air was too cool to really enjoy the beach, but the pool is protected by dunes. the kids really liked the game room although it was small and we had one of the best pizzas we ever had at a restaurant.

Staff was very nice, Hotel is really starting to show it's age with the rooms. 20 years ago it was the top hotel, rooms really need to be upgraded

Quick getaway for family
The hotel is perfect for someone who is planning a last-min getaway that offers kid's activities. There are always something for them to do in this hotel, they also had kids clubs in the evening and movies on the beach at night, which my kids loved. If you book your trip at the very last minute, you may not geta reasonable price.
