Beautiful Hotel

Gaylord National is an expensive hotel. The hotel is extremely beautiful. If you have the money, you will have fun! The service was great. It's a great place for a getaway. My husband I wanted a weekend getaway and we had FUN. If you have the dollars, lots to do and see. The National sports bar is AWESOME. While we were there, someone was having a wedding reception. The reception decoration was vert beautiful (I wish I was a guest). Parking cost $19. I guess nothing is free at the National Harbor.

Gaylord National Harbor

My family and I had a great time. The staff was polite and helpful. The hotel was beautiful (the Gaylord in Nashville is still my favorite, but my sister prefers the National Harbor location over the Orlando location).

Not all that special!

It was what we expected for the most part. Although I did not expect to pay 19.00 a night to park at hotel that I paid over 300.00 a night for. I was also a little put off with the plate with panacakes that sat in the hallway on the floor outside of someones room for 12 hours before it was picked up. Not worth the money in my opinion, there are several other hotels in the complex that I would give a shot.

Paid alot of money to be kept awake

The stay was enjoyable until 2:30am when I and my boyfriend were awaken by noise in the hallway and in the room next door. The staff at Gaylord kept apologizing profusely but not a one of them did anything to resolve the problem (like offer to move us to another room or better yet move the people in the room next door). I tried to sit in the lobby to get away from the noise and was told by management that I could not sit there. They could take the time to boot me from the lobby but couldn't do anything about the people making the noise??? The hotel did not charge us for parking and the resort fee as compensation for the noise. They offered no credit for the cost of the room - which certainly was not cheap. We decided to go ahead and check out at 6:30 since we had been up since 2:30. This was suppose to be our delayed getaway for valentine's day - paid a lot of money for an unenjoyable experience. The staff could use additional training on handling incidents like this.

The location is an up and coming

The location is an up and coming area. When all the shops and entertainment venues open this will be an amazing place. The hotel is big and the common areas are very attractive. The rooms are a little small and not up to par. The bed was passable. The pool was highly chlorinated. The shower pressure was just a slight sprinkle. The housekeeping service would wake you you up every morning at 8 am including weekends ( Not good) . The rest of the staff were very nice and friendly.
