Weekend getaway
The suite we had was not as open as I would have liked, the floorplan was a bit choppy but overall the room was nice and clean. The staff was very curteous and helpful. I thought driving to the harbor would be a headache but it wasn't. It didn't take long to get there and there's plenty of parking when you do. I was disappointed to find that this was a non-smoking facility (for my guest) but I would definitely stay there again.

Bad customer service
Two seperate times I called to get more information about the hotel before my arrival. Each time the clerk was rude and very impatient. Before I could get my question out, they would transfer me to a department that could not help me. If I had not prepaid for my stay, I would cancel my reservation. This will be the 1st and last time I will stay at this hotel.

SpringHill Suites Baltimore BWI Airport
Great location, close to BWI. Great staff, good continental breakfast. Used the pool, & whirlpool, facilities were clean. Only about 15 minutes to the inner harbor.

I love SpringHill Suites
I love the hotel I stay in different SpringHils the only thing I can warn about is to be sure that the lin for the pull out couch is not dirty ans stuffed back in bag by last guest the line was not cleaned and grossed me out after wrapping the sheet around me. Otherwise I love the decor, the suites and professional services.

BWI SpringHill Suites - Saturday 11/27
My wife and I stayed at the SpringHill Suites at BWI the Saturday after Thanksgiving in order to avoid the rush typical for the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Thank goodness we did as the traffic was already backing up out of the airport when we arrived at the terminal at 6:10 am after leaving the hotel at 6:00 am for our 8:00 am flight.Although the hotel was standard for a SpringHill Suites, the service provided by the staff was very, very good. For example: 1. I was picked-up by their shuttle from the Rental Car Facility instead of having to return back to the airport for pick-up; 2. their resturant recommendations for dinner were both varied and good - and - their shuttle took us there and picked us up as well; 3. [...] at the front Desk was very knowledgeable and polite.All in all, I'd use this hotel again for the same or a similar purpose.

Have the shuttle take you to the recommended seafood resturant. The 1/2 softball sized lump meat crabcakes are outstanding and the side portions are not only good but large as well. A good value for the money spent.

Good value
We only used the hotel for sleeping. However the bed was very comfortable, the room clean and spacious and functional. The staff was also very cordial and welcoming. I was pleased to find a nice buffet breakfast waiting for us in the morning. The hotel was very reasonably priced and the savings made it worthwhile being 15 minutes away from downtown.

The hotel is near the airport and not in walking distance of any shopping, dining, or sightseeing. I noticed an airport shuttle bus which would be convenient for anyone flying into BWI.

Shuttle service was good. Housekeeping - Made beds but did not leave coffee, new cups, did not empty the ice bucket.
