Quality hotel for travelers on the go with 24-hour airport shuttle

What do you get when you pump $3 million into a 158-room hotel? New bedding, new carpets, new drapes -- and that's just the guest rooms. The business center is state of the art and open 24/7, and the on-site Precor fitness center boasts an impressive collection of exercise equipment. Still, for all of the upgrades, one thing remains the same: the Hilton Garden Inn BWI Airport hotel is all about making travel easy. Hit the Pavilion Pantry for a midnight snack. The airport shuttle is quick, complimentary and on call 24 hours a day.

Highlights
  • Five-minute shuttle ride from Baltimore-Washington International Airport
  • Fresh, updated amenities and free high-speed Internet in every room (wired and wireless)
  • Precor fitness center boasts quality selection of cardio and weight-training equipment
Rooms

Expect crisp and warm décor. A brilliant white duvet accented with a brick-colored throw pillow, for instance, or a black, 32-inch flat-screen TV poised atop a casual, honey-toned console. The beds are a major selling point here. Most rooms boast the "Garden Sleep System," which is Hilton-speak for a plush mattress with adjustable firmness settings.

Features

The Hilton Garden Inn BWI Airport hotel's on-site Great American Grill cooks a full breakfast (think eggs and beyond) and offers continental fare too. Come evening, it transforms into a casual dinner destination with soups, sandwiches, pastas and other tasty classics. Should a snack-attack strike midday, make for the on-site Pavilion Pantry, a repository of fresh and ready-to-microwave snacks and meals.

Visit to Baltimore

We were happy with our stay. We had requested a non smoking room - when we opened the door to our room it was aparent someone had been smoking - when we called the front desk, the staff were apologetic and switched us immediately. When we arrived in our new room, it was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would most probably try to get accomodations here again.

Just enough

The hotel was nice. Lobby was well kept and rooms were clean. There's some wear and tear but it's what you'd expect from any hotel that's not brand new. The real shining point with this hotel was great location. It was right next to a movie theater and in very close proximity to the airport, downtown Baltimore and Annapolis. None were more than a 30 min drive away. The trees and surrounding area were beautiful! All in all, it was a nice place to stay. While I wasn't blown away, I really don't have any complaints.

Good for Business

It was quiet, clean and the bed was really comfortable. Also, they put enough creamer for the coffee maker in the room each day - hard to come by! THANK YOU

Hilton Garden Inn

It was okay. As noted above the location was the best part. The desk staff handled business efficiently and were friendly. The hotel was clean and so was the room. But, I have had better accomodations for less money. Complementry water in fridge would have been nice even if it was only 2 bottles. Or, some type of complementary breakfast would have been nice. But, overall for a quick stay it's okay.

Best hotel breakfast ever!

The hotel was lovely and convenient. Buy what really got my attention was breakfast buffet for $10. Made to order omelets or other egg dishes, waffles, juices, coffees, teas, bacon, sausage..... If I were going to have a complaint (and I really don't) it was that I never figured out how that adjustable bed was supposed to work. Slept fine, though, and that is the point.

Hilton Garden Inn - Linthicum

Hotel is my preferred location having spent at least 50+ nights there over the years. However, my room was on the 3rd floor, next to the elevator. This was the nosiest room in the entire hotel for three nights. All night, up and down. I'm picking a new favorite for my next trip.

Totally Satisfied

We stayed for the Labor Day weekend, spending very little time in the hotel, itself; but then, we only use hotels as a place to sleep, bathe and change clothes. The room was extremely comfortable; and unlike most hotels we have experienced, the thermostat actually did control the room temperature. During the wee hours of the morning our first night, the water to the toilet stopped running, and we had to improvise by pouring water into the basin. We simply left a note for the cleaning crew, as we left the room very early in the morning. All was well when we returned that evening. This was an obvious anomaly; and we did not feel it represented poorly on the hotel; nor did it particularly inconvenience us. I would stay here again if I ever returned to the Baltimore area.

We ate at the G-M Steakhouse a couple of miles right down the road. The food was excellent and well priced for the meals. Though quite crowded (as it is that popular) and a bit noisy, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lovely hotel with many amenities

On arrival a free shuttle bus drove us to the hotel which took about 10-15 minutes. There we were offered free water while waiting to check in. Our room was spacious and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The halls were not noisy. The kids had access to the computer room and the pool, when open. The pool is open only when a life guard is on duty. A movie theatre was in walking distance as were restaurants, including Ruby Tuesday's. The staff was most courteous. Also, this hotel served breakfast (buffet or table service) and dinner. So, overall we had a wonderful stay at Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel shuttle bus drove us to the Lighting train station which we took into Camden Yards, Baltimore to see stadiums, Harbor Inn, etc.

Baltimore Hotel

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was brief, but enjoyable. We were at the end of an East Coast "college road trip" and had a flight home to the West Coast the next morning. Just needed a place to rest. The hotel was very nice and clean with very comfortable beds. Service was excellent and restaurants in the area were within walking distance and family friendly.
